67 Element test

[Now everyone, line up in single file.] said the teacher while lining us up outside. We were about to be tested. Oh yeah, did I forget to mention? We had a new teacher a little ago. Her name is Tang Yue. She is a mid-tier fire element mage in the magic court. She is in this Bo city because of the black vatican. They are a group of mages that set up the disaster of Bo city. Also, one of the leaders is my mother. Biological and non-biological. She married Mo Fan's father to give Xin Xia and then disappeared. Funny, huh? Anyways, besides the fire element, she is also a shadow mage.

'She has looks, brains and is strong, yet I have zero romantic feelings about her. Understandable though.' I thought while looking forward. They were calling everyone up, and when it was my turn, I also walked up. The crystal inspector hid something under the testing stone, so I decided to expose him. When I was about to place my hand on the crystal, I actually lifted it.

[Hey! What are you doing?!] said one of the viewers

[Hmmm, I'm not sure. But is it a coincidence that there is an oddly black stone here?] I questioned while holding it up.

[Wha- who put it there!!] said the person taking the results down.

[Cant you use your brain? If everyone before me had good results, and this suddenly appeared, who could do it besides the crystal inspector? And if I'm sure about my information, he is with the Mu Family. Isn't that right, Inspector-San?] I smiled politely to the inspector.

[Boy's!! Get this trash out of here!] yelled the person taking the results down again.

And so, he was dragged out of the school.

'That solves a problem for Mo Fan as well.' I thought before sweeping the stone off the platform. I put back the crystal like stone and put my right hand on it. It glowed, then glowed stronger and stronger, and formed a ring. Then formed another ring, and finally another ring. Just before the announcer was about to explain the results before the crystal exploded in a glorious colourful flame which was shaped to that of a petal.

[Eh? Boy, what rank are you?] questioned the instructor while taking the results down.

[I broke into novice level 5 this morning.] I responded back. It was a white lie. It was good for everyone to know that I was still novice and not mid-tier, but nonetheless, I lied.

[N-novice level 5?! What kind of talent is this! S+!! No, S++!!!] screamed the instructor.

[Can I practice my attack magic?] I questioned to him

[S-sure, go ahead. Use your strongest attack.] he said

[Ignite : Ultra fire burst!] I screamed out as a huge fire was sent out of my hand. About 5 meters in diameter and height. It struck the test target and everything in a 3 meter radius was burnt to a crisp. No, not even ashes were remaining.

(A/N :There is no Ignite : Ultra fire burst, but it is the fifth level of the novice fire magic. There is no name for it that I can find, so I made my own.)

[Wha-What the hell is this power?! This is clearly above S!!] questioned the instructor.

[Level 5 ignite. I don't know the name, so instead of the fourth level 'Greater Fire Burst', I simply did Ultra fire burst'. Did I do something wrong?] I questioned

[Of course you did something wrong! Why did you unleash that strong of an attack!?] he questioned again

[You said 'Use your strongest attack', so I did.] I answered back

[G-Genius!! I will personally take you as my disciple!!] said the instructor. Although he was an instructor, he was already a peak mid-tier mage of the water element.

[You are not qualified. First of all, you have a water element, not fire. Second of all, you are only mid-tier mage. You have used the most of your potential.] I said while walking past him and down the stairs.

[If I'm not qualified, then who is!?] he said in rage

[Myself.] I answered back. He was left with shock at how cocky and prideful I was.

[Yami.] said a voice. His name was Mu He. He was also the person who ordered his men to pretty much disable Mo Fan's father.

[I know we have had our differences, but you should turn over a new leaf. This is a cultivation tool that multiplies your cultivation for the fire element by 2x. If you join our Mu Family, ill give this to you and you will have our Mu families backing.] he said. Behind him, Mu Zhuo Yun, Mu Ning Xue's father were looking at me with an expecting gaze. I felt like ants were crawling on me.

[Me? Join your Mu family?] I questioned while taking the magic device. He had a smile on his face, and Mo Fan was grieving, thinking I betrayed him. Just when he was about to do anything, using earth manipulation really quickly, I made a copy of it while storing the real one in my inventory. I broke the fake on in half and threw it on the ground while burning it with a level one ignite. No chant at all.

[Kowtow to me, my brother, my sister and father one thousand times and you will get 1% to me joining the Mu Family. If you are able to fufill these conditions, ill even let you be my pet dog.] I said simply. Mu Ning Xue had a slight smile on her face as if saying 'I knew you would do that'.

[H-How dare you!! Ill get you expelled!!] he said in anger. He was even readying his mid-tier ice magic.

[By what orders? Who are you to barge into this school and order the principal to expel one of the, in not the best students here for a mere offence. You are in unknown territory, not the Mu Families property.] I said while hitting my index finger on his face. I was looking at him with my eyes a colourless black. Nevertheless, he was terrified to the core. Mo Fan was in the back celebrating.

[Y-you!! How do you even know you are the strongest in this school?!] he said

[How? I'm nearly a mid-tier mage, and I could of have broken through to mid-tier if I didn't want the level 5 novice ignite magic. Such a powerful flame that I can cast relatively fast. And that was only at 50% full power. Ill fight you here and now, old man!] I said while activating my own magic.

[I think that's quite enough. A mage under the age of 18 can not and will not be permitted to duel with another mage until the age of 18. Meaning only in 2 years can he duel anyone.] said Tang Yue.

[Hmph, fine then. On the day of Yu Ang's birthday 2 years later, you shall duel him.] said Mu Zhou Yun while walking away. Mu Ning Xue smiled to me before frowning and walking away. I looked at her with an indifferent face, full of nothing but feelings of 'it was your fault'. I return to my original face while walking back to my spot. After a while, the instructor coughed and called up Mo Fan.

Mo Fan placed his hand on the newly replaced ball, and it started to burst in a red colour. 3 rings appeared around it, signifying that it was an S rank fire mage. On top of that, it was bigger and brighter than Mu Bai's S tier ice element.

[Mo Fan, S.] said the instructor

[Can I release my magic?] questioned Mo Fan. The instructor nodded and then led him to the newly made targets. They were made from the Earth element since they couldn't bring real replacements in a short amount of time.

[Ignite : Bone Scorcher!!] said Mo Fan. The fire flew and hit the target, making a small blast of fire. Ignite : Bone Scorcher was a level 2 novice fire magic. And with the increase of comprehension and memory by yours truely that was applied to the soul, he had successfully reached level 2 instead of the standard level 1. In the anime, Mo Fan got A, but here, he got..

[Mo Fan, S!] said the instructor with disbelief once again.

[What about you?! Will you be my disciple?] questioned the instructor

[Sorry, but ill pass on that. Like my brother Yami said, you don't have the qualifications. Also, I like to be free and un-restrained.] said Mo Fan while walking away. This left everyone, especially Mu Bai in shock. He just rejected a mid-tier mage!!

[*Cough cough*, well, next person.] said the instructor while recovering from his shock.

And so, a few hours passed. Mo Fan and I were at home, CHILLIN with Xin Xia. We would sometimes pick her up because of her inability to walk. This one time she was getting bullied, so Mo Fan with his newly awakened level 1 lightning magic blasted them with my ignite level 2 scorching them. They ended up staying there, unconscious for 3 days, NAKED!! Many people took photos and uploaded it, with censoring of course. Now that gang has dispersed and those group of 4 has never appeared in this city ever again.
