10 Rich

I now had over 2000 points or cash of whatever currency the borderlands system used. I had no clue what it was called, I had been a fan of the game yes, but a normal fan like me wouldn't know everything about everything's everything.

Smiling I went into the store and bought a level 1 required pistol that was weaker than my first at 10 base damage but had the ability to fire as fast as I pulled the trigger unlike the first one which had a second cool down. After that I also got a level 8 required pistol for shock, fire, freeze and corrosive damage at 5 damage a shot. The reason it was so expensive was that I could freely choose the element to fire out whenever I wished and as fast as I could pull the trigger. I admittedly got it for my new butler so he could explore and make a name for himself then come back and serve me after applying for residency in Konoha. I figured that was enough for him so I bought as much pistol ammo as my inventory could handle without it taking more than four spots. with this done I went over to the shotgun section and the sniper rifle section and bought a normal weapon at level 1 required for each. With this my limit for my inventory was half filled. Next I filled up the ammo of both my sniper and shotgun bullets, for four spaces each.

Wondering what to do I remembered the shields. Getting the largest capacity shield I could even if the regen and delay was terrible at a level 1 required I equipped it. The reason I did this was that I was a genin who was not gonna be able to just dodge most hits sent at me by my opponents. Since I couldn't dodge and I hadn't gotten the skills to do so yet and regenerate my shields at my current level of power I decided it was better to have something similar to a tanker build. Looks like I was becoming like the one girl from "I put all my points in defense" oh well. With that done I looked for the best shock grenade mod I could find at level 1 required. Getting that as well and equipping it I looked at my cash that was now only 760 dollars. I knew I was getting the arrogant master level stuff that didn't match the power gained for the cash spent, but still I was happy with my decision.

Besides according to the system my guns, shields and equipment with level restrictions are unbreakable and unstealable so I wasn't worried about it to much. And even if I outgrew them I also knew I would be able to summon intelligent creatures from borderlands thanks to the explanation of the named monster cards. If my stuff outgrew me, I knew I would likely be able to give it to one of them or another human. To help them survive better earlier on.

Getting back to my shopping I wondered what to do with my money. Waving it off I decided it was most likely best to keep it later for a backup plan. with that I left the store and was stuck staring at my ceiling alone... "Ughh, I don't want to deal with this boredom I couldn't help but point out to myself. Going to my closet I started pulling out preset outfits in my closet the system had left me when it brought me into this world. Trying on a few of them I eventually decided on a normal outfit instead of anything fancy for my first outside experience in this grand world.

Taking some of my already converted cash I bought myself a little bit of food at a few places shown inside the Naruto series such as Ichiraku ramen, Yaminaka BBQ, and even tracked down the place where Anko always gets her Dango. Honestly after eating this food I was completely conquered by the villages food. Never would I betray this delicious taste for anything in this world. Well maybe for some spaghetti and meatballs, but that's the divine food and I'm trying to compare these mortal foods among my palette.

Walking around a bit more I bumped into a guy who immediately grabbed me like I was some common street girl who would hire herself out to anyone. Taking a look at the man who did it I noticed the headband on the man's head that showed he was from some minor village. The only problem with this was that the village shouldn't be in this world. At least it wasn't shown in the series. Deciding to do the only thing I could without knowing anything else I let him continue to smile at me with his perverted little smile so I could learn where he's from. Oh I was soooo cutting his little junior off. well if it was big enough to cut off that is.

Following the man who waved his ninja pals goodbye I was lead into a back alley where he finally dropped his mask. "Hey bitch. I know you have just been dying for these goods haven't you." Obviously the man's life expectancy lowered even further. Still until I could guarantee no one was around I wouldn't act and reveal my strength.

Taking Kakashi's approach I stayed silent with a eye smile. With the obvious evil chuckle of a stereotypical evil person he started giving me his speech about how it was to late for anyone to come and save me. Blinking a few times I started to wonder something. Was I the new heroine of this world. Was I meant to replace Sakura or Hinata. I wouldn't allow that I decided off the top of my head with little thought into it. Instead I would be their big sister. I could imagine it now, seeing Naruto and Sasuke call me their big sis. My heart would just melt at the sight. Getting my mind off of that I looked at the man once more who seemed to still be in the middle of a monologue.

Pulling out my Kraggon pebble I wondered if it would be enough. At least until I saw the stats on it. seeing that it only had genin level strength even with it's current level I put it back and pulled out my other card. Seeing the Jonin level strength on the card for level 6 Kraggon Eruptor I couldn't help but be excited to see how this would go. I had put my level up card on this one in case it ever got killed so their would be two Chunin level creatures to cover my retreat. Summoning my card I immediately noticed a problem I hadn't thought about a second before. The summon after coming out of the card was unable to turn around as the passage wasn't wide enough for it to do so. Luckily as I had said earlier the beast could use fire. With a large eruption of red fire blossomed from it's deepest depths towards the ninja in front of me who didn't have even a moment to respond. With that ashes now littered the street where thankfully no one was at. Oops... It seems the creature attack with it's full power. I was hoping to figure out which village he was from to.

"Host if you just wanted to know that I could have told you. He's from a village named the Hidden Bloom village."

Getting ready to put my monster back into a card the system at that moment informs me about something very unfortunate for me. The user must wait 5 minutes from the time of summoning to allow the user to make the monster go back into a card form. This is done to transform the creature into a more optimum state for recovery once put back into a card form. Blinking my eyes and lowering my shoulders I just decided to put off any annoyance I have with the situation. Walking up to Mr. Eruptor. That was his name, and there was no changing it, I put my hand on it's snout petting it into oblivion. Okay he turned back into a card because I did that for a full 5 minutes, but so what.

I was also scolding myself for touching the portion of the creature that was on literal fire. Of course fire hurts. It does in most cases. This was real life at least in this world and not another world's no fire damage logic from pets.

Looking at my hand I realized I suffered no damage, but apparently the shield didn't cover minor pain. Which was weird as I thought pain came from the damage in the first place. Quickly it was covered by the system fixing it up with Gamer's body. "Host the shield will keep tortuous pains from occurring, and pains that would last for hours also from occurring, but the shield directs some of it's energy into giving you a feeling of pain so that you know certain things might be bad for you such as new plants on unknown planets or new materials that might act like methane or other such things. Basically the pains there to keep you from accidentally committing suicide. It was reasonable I decided, but it didn't mean I needed to like it.

Finally with the time limit up I put my card away and went back home deciding today was nothing but a wreck. Next time I'll go with Naruto at least then I have a cute little brother that I could spoil.
