"Yes. I can barely sense it." Deva replied.

"Where is it? Is it near my spine? Did it invade my organs?"

Usually, demons would invade the body of the host and attach itself to the spine. Then it would release many strong wires like appendages to connect with the host's internal organs. Once the process was completed, it would turn the host into a mindless puppet under its control.

So, Himav was desperate to know if his condition was similar. 

"No, it has yet to attach to your spine or organs. But…"

"But?"

"But I can't say if it's any better." 

"What do you mean?" 

Deva was a little hesitant to speak. He could see that Himav still had some hope remaining in him. He didn't want to be the bearer of bad news at a time like this.

Pausing for a second, he breathed out heavily.
