Rift Ranks

This is here to tell you just how crazy I want the novel to get. Least to greatest.

Each Rift tier is divided into 5 ranks: Inferior, Lesser, Standard, Greater, and Superior.

The Tiers go like this:

Mortal Rift, Dry Rift, Shallow Rift, Minor Rift, Deep Rift, Bathed Rift, Intermediate Rift, Budding Rift, Flowering Rift, Greater Rift, Fresh Rift, Blooded Rift, Experienced Rift, Veteran Rift, Soldier Rift, Knight Rift, Captain Rift, General Rift, Warlord Rift.

After that, Rifts enter Strata, which have a prefix attached to each of the standard ranks.

They are as listed:

Minor Slave, Slave, Major Slave, Grand Slave, Minor Freeman, Freeman, Major Freeman, Grand Freeman, Minor Servant, Servant, Major Servant, Grand Servant, Minor Warrior, Warrior, Major Warrior, Grand Warrior, Minor Noble, Noble, Major Noble, Grand Noble, Minor Royal, Royal, Major Royal, Grand Royal, Minor Imperial, Imperial, Major Imperial, Grand Imperial, Minor Ascended, Ascended, Major Ascended, Grand Ascended, Divine.

Strata with the same suffix tend to have the same levels of skill with the only difference being stats, with Ascended and Divine Strata being the exception to this rule. Another thing to note is that Divine Strata Rifts are the personally created realms of beings who have finished Ascension and became Divine beings capable of altering the powers of The Rift to their will. The Weakest Divine Strata Rift would be comparable to a Grand Royal Superior Warlord Rift, and that is only because it is newly created. Note that skills are ranked by strata as sublevel is only a further division of stats and abundance of skills.
