11 Chapter 11

Krystian had a dreamy image in his head... a hidden fantasy image of himself. He exists on a pile of weapons, artifacts, cash, surrounded by the sexiest women in the world of DC Comics.

In Krystian's thinking, you can get a strong character, surrounded by resource symbols and devices that we often see in comics and movies. Perhaps these fantasies stem from his desire to be unique, perhaps someone who is in charge of his life and has control over everything around him.

His image in all this is that of a being capable of anything, and with it brings forth the fantasy of stealing the most desired treasures, as well as stealing the heroes' heroes during combat.

He had more than one ambiguous scene in his mind that was also a fight with a superheroine. By making fun of her, he is taking away some of her security, step by step. This was usually followed by an unrealistic scene in which a woman stripped of her honor gave her body to him. It didn't make sense, but it was a fantasy and he didn't even spend a second thinking about the meaning of such an event.

In this excerpt you can share that Krystian fantasizes not only about wealth and power, but also about having a crazy but cunning character. The desire to steal cutting-edge treasures may be infected by his desire to use something that is unattainable or difficult to use. The "stealing the heroine while fighting" application that his imagination is also full of agility and nonsense, which could be a sign of his creativity and ability to think outside the box.

He was in a blissful mood as he currently searched the Internet for information about nearby museums and their exhibits. And fantasy while doing something more important may not be the wisest thing. However, that's what added to the whole process of researching and enjoying making games.

For the next hour, Hex examined the plans for the museum, obtained not only from the museum's official website but from a leaflet stolen from a nearby store. This was to familiarize himself with the location of the cameras and the location of his target, "Lumondetionise Crystal", which was located in the exhibition of precious stones in the deepest part of the Museum.

Krystian had in mind that the crystal on display was a fake and the original could be hidden somewhere out of sight of visitors. However, in this world where villains and heroes are on the front pages of gadgets. Technology companies, especially anti-theft ones, advertise their services and best achievements quite loudly.

And that's how it was this time, the Wayne Company, specifically the technology department of this company, boasted in one of the articles that almost all security measures for exhibits in museums in Gotham and Jump City were made by the above-mentioned company. Hex didn't understand the page devoted to a thorough discussion of the mechanics of security systems. Was the company confident enough not to think that disclosing such information was dangerous? After all, most villains can read.

Or are they very self-confident and the long list of security measures may actually be something that an ordinary villain cannot steal.

The crystal is located in a square dome made of tempered glass, which not only constitutes a physical protective barrier, but also introduces an aesthetic and visual element that emphasizes the uniqueness of the exhibit. The dome is perfectly transparent and its geometric shape adds modernity and elegance.

Additionally, laser sensors placed around the dome are programmed so precisely that they will detect the slightest vibrations or even temperature changes, which could suggest an attempt of unauthorized access to the exhibit. Their sensitivity means that even the most sophisticated attempts to bypass physical security measures will be noticed and reported.

The stand itself serves as the final protection of the exhibit and automatically senses the weight of the crystal. A specially programmed system monitors every change in the load, recording even the smallest movements or manipulations. Even if someone were able to fool the laser system, a hidden scale in the tripod would immediately activate an alarm, drawing the attention of security personnel.

All this advanced protection not only highlights the uniqueness of the crystal, but also demonstrates the owner's determination to protect and maintain the safety of the exhibit. It is not only a technological achievement, but also an expression of trust and care for a unique object. Thanks to this system, the exhibit is not only protected, but also surrounded by an aura of mystery and prestige, which further emphasizes its value and importance.

(Hex)-,,Really complicated security...yes...Blah...Blah...How to break through tempered glass. Hahaha...Because that's my problem."

Tempered glass is extremely difficult to damage, especially with only about 7 minutes of life. Hex looked through numerous websites devoted to the durability of Tempered Glass, and thanks to information from the technology website Wayne Tech. he knew it was glass. And without a really powerful torch or vibration device, destroying such a glass dome without having superpowers can be difficult.

Krystian's second thought was to destroy the pedestal on which the crystal was placed. However, the pedestal itself was made of reinforced steel, which was even more challenging than the glass dome.

However, when Krystian was nervous, he was thinking about breaking into some local technological facility in search of a suitable tool. An image of an apple appeared in his head. Apples. The one he tested his power on not so long ago.

And at that moment, Krystian, having a flash of intelligence, developed a plan. A plan on how to defeat the currently indestructible material using the physical means available to it. But before he went to the museum. Krystian returned to the motel, where he decided to practice the method that appeared in his head while collecting information.

Two hours later, Krystian dressed in his work clothes, i.e. a Plague Doctor mask and a leather jacket. He entered the museum and, still checking the map on his phone, went to the bathroom. And sitting in the cabin, he once again examined the path he wanted to take. And where to hide for two seconds to stay out of the cameras' range, deactivate and activate the power.

Then, after activating the power, he ran towards the display case with the Crystal that Dr. had ordered him to steal. Light. Kryszta, looking at him with the naked eye, didn't seem like anything special. It looked like a yellow emerald from Minecraft. Judging by its shape and similar size, which allowed it to be easily hidden in a trouser pocket.

However, without wasting any time, Krystian set about defeating his greatest enemy, glass. Krystian's plan included turning back the time of an object that was a glass pane made of tempered glass. Specifically, rewind an object to a specific moment in the object's time. The moment when the glass was shaped and was, in short, more of a liquid than a solid body. Krystian practiced this on many panes of glass stolen from nearby houses, but he did not have access to tempered glass and did not know the production date of the tempered glass. He didn't know how long it would take him.

The process of reversing an object's time is quite complicated, but the biggest challenge is focusing on the object. And controlling the flow of energy, he didn't fully understand how it worked yet. However, it worked quite strangely, from Krystian's perspective. The glass itself was surrounded by a barely visible, almost invisible green light. So inconspicuous that unless a person focuses on the edges of the object, he or she will not be able to see them. The speed of time reversal is quite peculiar and is controlled by Krystian's thoughts. However, the process of acceleration and deceleration is quite difficult mentally.

Krystian observed numerous dirt, dust and even vomit appearing on the glass surface, which disappeared after almost a second, and the glass, despite its previous clean condition, now seemed even cleaner. Unfortunately, however, the glass case has apparently been a long-time property of the museum. And despite 5 minutes, Krystian was still observing the dirt on the glass appearing and disappearing.

And as if fate wanted to mock Hex, after another two minutes the long-awaited red color began to appear on the window, after seeing which Krystian deactivated the power of reversing time. And for a few seconds he enjoyed the sight of the change in the shape of one pane of glass, which rolled up into a roll like a pancake and after a while it solidified. And Krystian, with a satisfied smile, grabbed the yellow emerald and looked at it in all its glory for a moment. Before he saw something in the Crystal's reflection that made his heart beat faster.

In the Crystal's reflection he saw the two heroes currently examining fossils containing some actual snails. The first one that caught my eye was a quite short man, about 1.6 meters tall. And despite having civilian clothes consisting of green tracksuits and a purple skeeter-style sweatshirt. His green face immediately exposed his true colors. BeastBoy.

And the identity of his companion was not difficult to guess, intense, almost golden red hair....StarFire...

And after seeing the two threats behind him, a moment of enlightenment came. When he remembered his current time freeze limit.

(Hex)-Fuck...
