Eye of truth:

The blessing granted to those who seek truth. Using it, someone can see things

that others can‟t see, for example other‟s status, and unusual things. If upgraded it

can also show if someone is telling the truth or not. If reached the highest mastery

–revealing needs 1000 faith points-

Requirements: intelligence: 20 – wisdom: 20

Energy usage: 0 per usage (100 per usage if upgraded to highest mastery)

-: I used all my faith points for this useless blessing which also needs 20

points of int. so I can‟t even use it. What should I do? Don‟t tell me I have to fight

bare-handed without any blessings. System, is there a way to restore my faith

points?

Sys. : No, you can‟t get your faith points back, when you used them.

-: Oh, no! What should I do? There should be some equipment at least …

System, do I have some equipment to use?

Sys. : No, you just can obtain weapons and armors by spending faith points.

You can open system shop by saying the word "store". There are also some free

items that you can use …

Sys. : Starting teleportation to wave‟s battlefield …

* A magic circle appears beneath Thomas and then everything goes

seems we have to fight an army. I suggest we introduce ourselves and our

blessings, in order to decide on our strategy.

* Everyone agrees then he continues: *

"Ok, I start the introduction. I‟m James Crown, my int. stat is 40 which is my

highest, and my blessings are energy manipulation and spell craft. In short, I‟m a

magician. It‟s your turn now …"

-: I‟m Thomas Cane. My agility is the highest and its 40. My blessings are

stealth and eye of truth. They are a bit useless though, and I can‟t use any of them

because of my low int. Anyways, I try my best to help you as much as I can.

* As soon as he finishes talking whispers start … "He has useless stats

and blessing" "He is only good at running" "Look at his equipment … HaHa

… Who fights with a kitchen knife" … *

James: Ok, everyone. Let‟s go to next one …

Another pawn: Let me introduce myself next. I‟m Alice pinewoods. My agility

and str. Are both 40, and my blessings are Seraph roar and berserker. The first

one lets me decrease enemies‟ stats and the next one increases mine for an hour.

I can use both of them as I have high agility and str.

James: Wow! You will be our damage dealer. Ok, who wants to be next?

Another pawn: I‟m Jasmine Warden. I have high int. and wisdom. My

blessings are healing ray and God‟s eminence. The first one is healing ability and

the second one is a buff to team and debuff for enemies.

James: Now, we have a healer too. There are three people left. Who wants to be first?

One of the three: I‟m Kay Graham. My vit. And str. are both 35. My blessings

are taunting and regeneration.

James: You will be our tank then. Only you two are left …

One of the two: I don‟t see any obligations to introduce myself, and I‟m not

looking for friends. And there is one more thing who said you are the leader here?

Don‟t go about choosing others‟ jobs for them …

James: It‟s ok if you don‟t want to introduce yourself, if you don‟t want but

don‟t accuse me for nothing. I didn‟t say I was leader here.

Alice: That‟s enough guys, and you have to tell us your stats at least cause

we have a war to attend to …

The pawn: Ugh … ok. I‟m Mike Tailor. My stats are all around 30, and my

blessings are soul messaging and stealth. I‟m best as an assassin or guard.

James: Ok, friend. Do as you like, and sorry about before if it bothered you.

Ok, let‟s go to the last one …

Last pawn: I don‟t remember my real name due to an accident, so call me X.

my stats are all 50. And my blessings are underworld fire and ray of death. I can

be the other magician.

- (In his mind): I don‟t know why but I feel uneasy about X. Something about

her is fishy …

James: Ok, let‟s start with our plan. In the front we have tank, assassin, and

damage dealer. Usually in games, tank focuses all enemies‟ attention to himself,

while damage dealers try to kill enemies. In the meanwhile, assassin uses stealth

to reduce the number of enemies without letting them notice. And in the back row,

we have healer and magicians. Magicians help damage dealer kill enemies, but

the difference is that they should aim for large scale of killing, which sometimes

leads to their energy shortage. The healer will heal mostly tank and damage

dealers and also use buff on us and debuff on enemies. That‟s it. Any questions?

-: James, what should I do? …

James: Sorry Thomas, as you can‟t use any of your blessings, and also you

don‟t have any proper equipment, it‟s better if you stay out of war. You just have to try to stay alive until the end of the wave.

-: But I can fight … I try my best ...

James: Sorry buddy, that‟s for your own good.

Sys. : Countdown until arrival of Hades‟ army starts ... 10 ... 9 ... 8 ... 7 ... 6 ...

5 ... 4 ... 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... 0. We wish you the best of luck!

* A horde of monsters appears far away. The horde is rushing towards

the pawns. *

James: Everybody, get ready for war. We are all going home alive after this.

* Everyone yells "yes" and gets ready to do their part in the formation *

-: If no one wants me to fight, so let‟s run and stay alive until the wave ends.

* The horde reaches the pawns. Then their general comes to the front

and says: *

"You, humans, will kneel to our lord without your heads. Better write your will

before we start the war. HaHaHa ..."

* As he was saying that, the pawns' hearts were filled with fear *

* Finally the horn of war is blown and the war starts *
