55 Kings

Sion was carried by Deblis to his world through a portal gate that interconnected with his world and other other dimensions. It was clear that the God had done a number on Sion's body as he remained asleep in Deblis's world and stay that way for seven weeks.

However totally oblivious to what was going on, Sion was experiencing what could have been a third transformation as all the energy that had shot through him from the God of Mystery had been stored in the symbols that decorated Sion's body after he was reborn from ashes upon an altar in ritual.

The static Sion heard was that of crying and screaming and something that sounded like war but the static was far too loud for him to know what one voice in the background wearing a black cloak robe was saying as time seemed too fast to understand what was really happening.

The colours and more seemed to sky rocket pass him as he floated between them in a daze as if underwater.

'What do you know?' He heard someone in his mind ask that was definitely not his voice, yet he replied to it as if he was reliving a certain situation of the past maybe even present.

'Not much, I'm really average you know?' He then realised when this was. This was a memory of when he wasn't bullied and talked to a random guy who had beat him to his hiding spot. This hiding spot was up on an abandoned roof of a part of his nation that was considered the rumble of time. A constant reminder for the people that this was once how they lived before technology had advanced.

Sion recalled he was around 7 at the time and his mother had been giving him a hard time. She had him train with other pride members way above his age in hopes of awakening his second gender. The woman had been impatient seeing Sion slack behind and not do anything right. After her grandfather died and left Sion his only family heirloom she was disgusted with the boy. So disgusted she did not give him the last words her grandfather said to pass on to him.

Sion in his dazed state opened his eyes but only partly to see hands reaching out to him.

"Sion, you are a very special individual" he recalled his mother Grandfather saying as they walked through the garden hand n hand.

"I don't think so…" Sion spoke honestly remember the spite in his mothers eyes and the hits and what was called the tail whip used for training aggressive second gender first awakeners lash across his back.

His grandfather knew what was happening but was currently to frail and sick to be of influence to the pride in his condition. So he nurtured and loved the boy when no one else would keeping in mind of that night he spoke to a lost soul.

"You are indeed someone who will do wonders in this world. Maybe not now but soon and maybe not soon but later, whenever the time comes and the sky cracks open. I know you'll bring a new beginning." Sion looked up the same way his grandfather did but looked to his grandfather's smile and found warmth in it rather than believing in those words.

Sion reached out to the hands only to be gripped by coldness, this coldness ripped Sion's soul almost apart as what looked to be a slightly broken crystal was torn out before his soul was left alone again.

'Do you know of the story about the kings?' He heard the stranger in his memory from the abandoned rumble say once more.

'The story goes there were eight kings and each king represented a main race of individuals. These kings fought each other on a daily basis however, there was one king more powerful then the other seven. They feared this king and sort help from the gods and Goddesses, some even turned to demons exchanging their souls for power. Eventually the seven kings started an alliance to take down the worst feared king. However they were no match and having anger towards the God the feared king lashed out on the Gods, goddess and demons alike. He slaughtered countless, proving far more difficult to kill then these beings had previously thought.' The man spoke in a weird way as Sion listened in his daze almost like he was hearing this story for the first time?

'Why did they do this in the first place- what did the king ever do?' Sion's younger self spoke back in a confused yet intrigued manner. The man now slightly clearer to Sion in his dazed memories seemed to be wearing a mask and hoodie, yet from time to time the memory glitched showing the man in a black cloaked robe instead.

'You see the other kings wanted the feared kings power. They slaughtered innocent and more to get power to take the power that the feared king wielded. You see the power the feared king had was a born inheritance and the only way to receive the power would be to kill the king. But eventually the feared king slaughtered all the other kings and more taking their power for himself and even though he remained humble the God n demons sort revenge. Knowing they were not powerful enough to hold a candle to him they divided the feared king's body into eight pieces, each piece holding a piece of his soul as well as casting him into the void. The world between dimensions where no one knows what becomes of you, not even the Gods or demons.'

Sion stared at the crystal as another crystal seemed to form out of all the pure energy from the God of mystery. These crystals seemed to call out to each other as they seemingly merged together making a panel that seemed to be missing parts to it.

Sion confused reached out and grabbed the panel and be instinct pulled it towards him infusing it within his body. The panel glowed upon entering before showing a howling wolf made up of light before it receded all the way.

Suddenly Sion's eyes opened in a foreign bed as the wind from outside seemed more crisp and calm than the city air in his nation.

"Well I'll be- he lives!" Deblis who had just returned from a fracture had just come to check on Sion to seem if progress had been made with his recovery. To his shock though he didn't expect to see a fully awake Sion anytime soon. Especially not with how my pure energy was forced through him at such an alarming rate.
