Step in

Dikano stood at the school hall's door , not knowing what to do. Now that Ditiro is here ,a few meters away ,his heart felt heavy. All the teachers came towards the hall, forcing him to enter.

The SGB (School governing body) chairperson introduced dikano ,he walked Slowly to the front.He swallowed the lump on his throat, his eyes locked with Ditiro's, he spoke gently.

"Ladies and gentlemen, as you know our previous principal is no more,may his soul rest in peace. I am counting on all of your support to continue making our school a success "

His eyes never leaving Ditiro's for a second , Ditiro felt like she was dreaming , she literally pinched herself more than once just to make sure.After the meeting everyone wanted to shake Dikano's hand,but Ditiro remained stationed on the chair .She sat there starring at this handsome stranger who felt so familiar.

Everyone left except Ditiro,She still sat there in her mind the picture of Dikano giving his speech. Dikano came back in ,locking the hall behind him . He kneeled by Ditiro's side,then shifted in front of her .That's when her senses came back ,they hugged each other tight, a hug overdue for both of them.

They remained that way for hours, both their minds in a daze. Their heart beating slow then fast ,slow then fast.They waited years for this moment, now that it was here, they had no intention of letting .

Naledi was surprised that his mother's car was still there, the school hall was locked from inside which was strange ,but there was no sound coming from inside which was stranger.He thought maybe she went to speak to Tshepiso's teachers, he wanted to speak to Dikano anyway so he went to the staff offices. To his surprise Dikano's office was empty, he then went to Tshepiso's class, but Ditiro aas not there.
