Dikano meets Tshepiso

Now Dikano and Naledi would sometimes have lunch together, Their bond was getting stronger. One afternoon Tshepiso entered the staff room to see her teacher about the debate trip , Naledi sitting in Dikano's office saw her and called out to her.

"Let me introduce you to my sister ,Tshepiso "

"The one you are very close with" Dikano laughed

But when Tshepiso entered Dikano's office, his laugh slowed down and went dead in a second. Dikano was stunned ,this person in front of him looked like the younger version of Lebo his mother. Tshepiso and Naledi looked at each other, it looked like he just saw a ghost.

" Sir ,are you ok .Sir!" shouted Naledi

Tshepiso poured a glass of water and gave it to him.

"Yes I'm fine ,this is your sister " he said after drinking the water

"Yes ,her name is Tshepiso"

Pleased to meet you"

"Me too ,uhm! Ledi I have to go.Sorry principal I don't mean to be rude but I'm here to see mam Choma about the debate trip "

"oh yeah, my sister is the captain of the debate team"

"A family of leader huh,ok my girl go.And good luck" exclaimed Dikano

Tshepiso said thank you and left ,but her head was filled with questions about Dikano's reaction to her.

"Your father must be proud " Dikano said in a low voice

"Are you sure your ok ,I can call the school nurse for you" , concern on Naledi's face.

" No need I'm fine"

"I dont know my father ,we both dont .Mama don't want to talk about it.She gets very emotional so we saw it best to let it go"

"So you and Tshepiso share a father"

"That's what mama says ,I dont know.We dont look alike so I can't say for sure"

"Is your mom not married "

"No ,for as long as I can remember it has always been me,my mom and Tshepiso. Sometimes when she is happy mom says my father said he will come for us and she trust him"

Dikano held back his tears ,either Ditiro's family lied to him or Ditiro ran away from her husband.

"oh ,you've never met him"

Before Naledi could answer the question the school bell ring , he said good bye and rushed to class.

Dikano closed his office's door, tears streamed through his face at the realization he might have a daughter. But how ,it was not possible. Ditiro must have met someone else, the person she married. So why is he not there it just didn't make sense to him.
