1 The new beginning
I try to open my eyes, only to be greeted with a heart wrenching pain. Around me are two beauties supposedly holding and rocking me back and forth with their eyes all red from all the tear and snot they have on their faces from god knows when. (ughh..)
Yep I died.
I can't help but remember all those typical isekai novels out there, which I used to read day and night. So, what is it going to be, am I going to be a mighty hero who has to kill demon lords?, or some cool adventurer who goes and saves the damsel in distress?.
What the hell shouldn't I have some memories of my past live in this world? Brother system where are you??

And comes the most painfully paining pain that puts normal pain to shame. Aaaaaaaaaa…..ughhhhhhh.... I can't help but groan and cry out loud for all these memories stuffs into my tiny brain.
So I am basically Alexander the great in his childhood. Kidding, the name of this body is Arthur Vernon. A damn good name if I have to say. So, this boy is the seventh prince of the kingdom of Arankor, whose mother is a maid whom his father forced himself upon and all his stepmom (who are four in number) totally and with no exemption hate him and his mother (well I guess she is my mother now) to the core. Something like a peasant born shouldn't be allowed to live as royalty. And I was bullied by other princes every day and my dear stepmoms didn't even put me in the eye saying my mom is a demon who seduced the king. Typical medieval woman I guess.
So after the constant bickering of his wives the dear father of mine Arankor the fourth decided to kick me out from the palace. In the last moment he decided to take pity upon me or my mother and made me lord of some rundown estate called Kawasaki. To the north and east, the estate touches the ocean. To the west is the dukedom of Pragar and to the south is the barony of Daldel.
So, basically this is all I know from the memories.

Of all the queens in harem the fourth queen hated and bullied his mother the most, 'accidentally' pouring tea on the dress, having her aides talk vulgar words about her and many more. So I think she was the main culprit for my poisoning. I can feel myself getting angry. Well the memory of Arthur mainly.
Mother has been putting wet towel on my forehead; she is finally silent seeing me being sleeping with ease. Still I can see the worry in her face. The maid Lucy also has been crying all along and helping my mother take care of me.
We are currently in our way to the kawasaki estate. I have 1 maid and five knights following me to the estate, the knight John asked father for the permission of guarding the seventh prince which my father agreed so he came along with his four students who follow him with their family. We have brought 1 carriage of grain, bread and a barrel of ale. It will last for at least six months.

Arthur thinks about the pill and surprisingly a round shaped medicine appears in his hand. After he eats the pill he can feel the energy growing in him. His body feels light and all the pain from the poison finally disappears and his face finally regains it's color. As he begins to wake up, his mother who was lying by his bed in the carriage also wakes up.
"My son are you still feeling pain?" mother asks with a teary face.
Seeing her I can't help but feel warm in my heart. As a orphan I have never known the love of a mother. Having such a caring mother really feels good.
'system will the pill work on my mother'

Arthur takes another pill and gives it to his mother. As she asks what it was he says "don't worry mom it's a medicine I had bought in the capital, the shop owner said it can improve a person's constitution"
"ehh no no my dear son how can I take it when you are so sick, you should take it wait I will bring water for you"
As Arthur says he has already taken it mother agrees and takes the pill. She too fells amazed by such godly medicine.
After 5 days of travel they finally arrived at the estate. The state though it is barren has a majestic palace that falls short only to the capital's palace. His knight John tells him that the land has been barren after a disastrous accident happened in the alchemy facility in the estate.
As nobody wanted to live in a barren land the nobles all went to other parts of the kingdom. There are 3 palaces within the state, the estate is pretty big. The knights, his mother and the maid all clean and prepare the rooms as there were cobwebs and dusts everywhere. Arthur tells his mother that he was fine and just wanted to rest for a while. She also doesn't bother him any longer and leaves after giving him a peck in the cheek.
As everyone goes outside the room Arthur looks at the other item from the system the 'aides cube'.
'system what is this aides cube?'
[as the host is new to this world he will need people of expertise to run his kingdom, aides cube will summon experts in various fields to work for the host. These aides will have absolute loyalty to the host]

Arthur sneaks out from the palace to summon the aide as he won't have an excuse if a person suddenly appears in the castle.
After about half an hour he arrives at a lonely place.

He felt like he knew where this was going he unsheathes his sword, makes a small cut on his finger and drops into the pitch black cube which appears infront of him As soon as he does that the pitch black cube gradually morphs into a middle aged man. The man looks at Arthur for a second and kneels.
"I pay greetings to my lord"

"ohh that's good" Arthur says out loud.
"Arise, you shall be known as Alfred from know on"
"as you wish my lord" says the butler as he stands up

"understood my lord" the bultler nonchalantly says.
Arthur returns to the palace and lies on the bed and can't help but think about tomorrow.
