93 Chapter 93 Warning General Ross

Chapter 93 Warning General Ross

Perhaps someone else thinks that the Leon might be too timid and embittered?

On the contrary, Leon is a responsible person. While never considered responsibility as a derogatory term.

If Leon hadn't embraced responsibility, he wouldn't have ascended to the position of the former supreme commander of Krypton. His ability to reach such heights is evidence of his charisma.

Why can Krypton trust him? Apart from the assistance and background from the El family, it's also due to Leon's exceptional charm.

As a soldier and leader, Leon isn't just about kindness or bias toward women. He once subdued a neighboring planet as an enemy and had to endure below the surface to survive.

Yet, he's not entirely tyrannical; he bears the responsibility he should.

Numerous events demonstrate Leon's character. If there are still those who don't comprehend Leon's behavior, perhaps the fault lies with me?

In any case, Leon personally participated in the battle between the Hulk and the Abomination in Manhattan.

Notably, after defeating Abomination, Leon allowed Hulk to escape.

Anyone wishing to uncover Leon's true identity knows it's him, the more fearsome alien monster.

Even compared to the Hulk and Abomination at that time, Leon might seem the more composed one.

He even confronted General Ross.

Consequently, S.H.I.E.L.D's Fury believes that contacting General Ross might be the best choice for Leon.

Why does Leon persist in getting involved in these matters?

The reason is quite simple. General Ross likely possesses certain items. For instance, the serum from the super soldier program or even an inferior replica, evident from how Blonsky, the transformed Abomination, acquired it.

Blonsky was initially injected with the Super Soldier Serum and later combined with Hulk's genes, resulting in his transformation into Abomination.

Furthermore, there are research materials about Mr. Blue, codenamed the leader.

General Ross seized Hulk from the Leader's lab, and he likely has substantial resources at his disposal.

Leon has a negative impression of the nation and has been thwarting their efforts to obtain the Iron Man battle suit for an iron army. It's improbable that General Ross can truly complete the super soldier plan.

He's unconcerned about Hulk joining the Avengers; his primary concern is if General Ross can build a super army.

That's it.

So Leon arrived at a bar and found a drowsy and discontented General Ross.

Originally, it was supposed to be Tony's task in the easter egg, but it turned into Leon's.

Approaching General Ross, Leon raised his hand and called out to the bartender, "A bottle of whisky."

The bartender was momentarily stunned. Usually, it's a glass or two, not an entire bottle.

General Ross glanced at Leon and murmured, "You seem like an ordinary person."

Leon wasn't surprised. As mentioned earlier, apart from S.H.I.E.L.D, the first three soldiers who knew his identity must have briefed other forces.

That's a certainty.

The intelligence from FBA, the CIA, and even the military will undoubtedly report it.

Not reporting would be a betrayal, not just to Leon but to their own affiliations.

So, it's no wonder General Ross could discern Leon's identity.

After all, it's been a long time since that battle, providing ample opportunity for General Ross to investigate the monster he encountered that day.

Unless Leon is ruthless and eliminates everyone who knows.

Accepting the whisky offered by the bartender, Leon raised his hand and, with a resonant blow, infused the bottle with a mysterious gust of air.

Then, snapping his fingers again, he remarked, "A glass of whisky, please."

The bartender's astonishment was palpable as he stared wide-eyed at this guest.

Was this bottle intended merely to wet the throat? Or was this just the prelude to something else?

Nonetheless, being in the service industry, encountering a patron with a god-like tolerance for spirits might be intriguing.

Swiftly, ice cubes were added, and a glass of whiskey was handed over.

Glancing at Leon once more, General Ross pondered the manner in which such spirits were imbibed.

He couldn't help but set down his own glass. If Leon insisted on recruiting him to drink, he might not make it out of here in one piece.

But it was all an overestimation; Leon enjoyed his drink alone.

Recruit General Ross for a drink? For what reason? Were they friends? No.

Moreover, did he even have the qualification to make such a demand?

Leon sneered inwardly. Were he to be haughty, very few in the world would catch his attention, not General Ross, nor even the president.

General Ross had no intention of pleading. Thus, he took a sip himself, planning to soon change seats.

"You recall what I mentioned before," Leon finally initiated conversation with General Ross.

General Ross was taken aback. Did he mean the previous threat?

He remained silent.

Leon sneered, "I heard you're not deceased. This is just a final warning, there won't be another."

"Do you dare to threaten me?" General Ross was also incensed. He couldn't believe an alien would dare to threaten a general in his own country.

Leon merely smiled, "Do you dare to gamble with an entire nation?"

General Ross was startled, "What do you mean?"

"If I act against you, the entire nation will seek retribution. When it escalates, I'll bring the moon down upon the nation. At that point, I doubt anyone will survive," Leon calmly remarked.

A cold sweat descended upon General Ross.

Amongst those present, no one knew Leon's true identity, except him. He knew Leon was an alien with formidable power, having witnessed the ease with which Leon obliterated the abomination.

General Ross didn't dare to gamble, didn't dare to stake the whole country on the belief that Leon couldn't or wouldn't do it.

"What is your intention?" General Ross was furious, feeling aggrieved. Why did this person persistently create trouble for him?

Leon inwardly thought, 'Can't you see the reason yourself?'

Why couldn't they get along? It wasn't about intent to kill him.

Leon looked at General Ross coldly and snorted softly, "You should know what I'm capable of. Cease all those plans, or I'll end you. And don't pursue or trouble Hulk any longer. I've been asked; he might need to join a team. And your daughter, they have affection for each other."

General Ross trembled with anger. He even meddled with his daughter?

Betty is General Ross's only child, and she's in a relationship with Dr. Banner. Initially, they were in love.

However, as Dr. Banner transformed into the Hulk and became a target of General Ross worldwide, they had to flee together.
