"Damn that hurts," Regret says rubbing his eyes

Looking at his new memories he realized what happened. 'Morpice Myriad? Adopted son of Myriad Dragon Clan Head Landon Myriad? Worked as his foster father's bodyguard, interesting... Hmmm a talented youth who managed to get his cultivation crippled, then killed by his step brother, haha. Fixing this one's life will be both quite interesting and amusing...'

Regret studied the body's injuries, noting they weren't that bad, he got up and followed the new memories back to the Clan's Compound.

The Compound was huge, as it was the largest sect in the medium sized city, it was shaped like a hexagon and was at least twenty to twenty five square kilometers in size. It had twenty-five meter tall stone walls, and housed a few thousand people.

At the gates of the compound two Adept ranked guards stood, from his memories he knew that after getting crippled only the Clan Head still liked him, the rest either hated him or were afraid to talk to him due to the Clan's Young Master. To get past the guards Regret used a side entrance from his memories.

Inside there were many people loyal to the Young Master, so Regret slid around the perimeter of the compound to the Clan Head's Mansion. (Where Regret lives as adopted son of Clan Head)

When he reached the Mansion, two more Adept-Ranked guards stood in front. Knowing they weren't hostile, he stepped past them and entered the mansion.

Inside the mansion, was a large hall, with a long dining table and chairs, leading to a mediocre sized stone throne, only a single step higher. The floors and walls were made of perfectly rectangular stone, the ceiling was made of arches, with skylights in between, and to the sides were over a dozen small hallways leading to the rest of the mansion.

When Regret entered the hall, there was no one present. With a sigh of relief, Regret quickly dashed to the third hallway on the right. The hallway was short, before directly leading to a set of stone stairs leading upwards. Going up two flights Regret stepped into another hallway. The hallway had half a dozen doors, three to his left, and three to his right. Entering the door second to the left with a key, Regret locked the door, and sat on a bed.

Sigh...

'Is it always going to be this hard to enter my room?' Regret sighed due to the amount of work needed to just go home. 'Well I guess it will be better once I can use Flying Raijin and Kamui....'

Looking around the room, Regret noticed that the room was very generic and empty. The room consisted of a wooden desk, chair, a small twin sized bed, a closet, and a bathroom. On the desk was a blank notebook that seemed to never have been open, a quill pen, six empty in wells, and a mana lamp. The bed was neatly done, and aside from a few changes of clothes, the only other thing was a broken longsword that couldn't even be sold for scrap.

Closing the closet door, Regret entered the bathroom. The room was quite basic; stone tile floors, a shower powered by mana, a mirror, and a sink. After washing his face, Regret noticed that he still looked almost the same as always, in both his previous lives, and now, aside from his hair, which was both slightly shorter, and colored blue. 'Hmm.. How does this even work?' Regret thought how slim the chances someone who looked almost identical to him existed in the universe.

Leaving the room, Regret walked to his desk, cleared it off, turned on the desk lamp, and sat down in the chair.

Closing his left hand, Regret's mind entered his spatial ring's storage space, inside was the body of the Chaos Emperor, thousands of the Emperor's belongings, and the Compendium atop a podium. Approaching the Tome, Regret saw a box of cards on the pendulum, next to it. Picking up the box, Regret brought it out to the real world.

"What's this?" Regret said aloud to himself, observing the deck box. It was a normal card box, but instead of the brand of cards, it was just titled "A Gift to the Emperor" Opening the box, fifty-five cards fell out. The back of the cards were red, with a black hole like design in the center, seeming very similar to another game's card back design. Regret looked at the first card, was what should have been the rule card had it been a normal deck of cards, but instead it had a similar, but fundamentally different use.

The first card, on one side had a explanation of the cards, except the normal rule guide was replaced with words more relating to it being a gift to the Chaos Emperor. 'So this must be the extra gift Nemesis spoke of,' Flipping the card over all it said was: "Would you like to bind system?" Thinking for a moment of what it could mean, Regret ignored his thought after remembering it was a reincarnation gift, and couldn't hurt him.

{Binding System, Please Wait}

{...}

{Bind Complete}
