Reuniting Again Outside of their Disguises II

Seraphine wants to have the ability to save Eric and everyone else.

That's not mainly because she's trying to be of use. It's also not only because she hates staying powerless all the time. But rather, she wants to keep them out of any perilous situation - to lessen their burdens and fight alongside those who also wish to protect them.

"Oh so, that is your greatest wish, darling~?"

Then suddenly came an unfamiliar voice of a woman. 

Seraphine came to a halt upon hearing someone talking. She went frozen still, thoroughly perplexed. Nobody is there with her at the moment - she is all on her own. 

"I must say I'm grateful for this unfortunate turn of events. All this time, you desire to get rid of the power within you. But don't you know? You can never get rid of me. I've already become you - and you've already become me. We're one in the same."
