1 I Died Just Like That... (1)

I walked closer to them and was about to get their attention when they did something unexpected. Feng Mian tiptoed and placed a peck on Xie Lufeng's lips.

Feng Mian giggled while Xie Lufeng looked at her warmly. His eyes clearly conveys love and dote on her. I never seen him act like this. Not even to me.

Feng Mian tiptoed again and placed multiple pecks of kisses on Lufeng's lips. My heart aches watching them. It feels like my heart was clenched without mercy. I felt my eyes started to water but I just blinked it away.

What is this? My boyfriend is cheating with my best friend behind my back? Why would they do this? I continued watching them silently. Cursing in my mind for torturing myself like this.

A moment after, Feng Mian noticed me. "Oh my gosh! Fei Hong!" She pushed Xie Lufeng away. She had the look like she had been taken advantage. "Fei Hong... I... It's not what you think." She said while stuttering. She didn't looked at me or Xie Lufeng while saying that.

I smiled, my eyes void of emotion. "Not what I think? Why? Am I thinking something? If you have an idea of what am I thinking of, please do tell me." I said while looking directly at her.

She whimpered, acting as if I wronged her. Why would she whimper though, is she even a dog? Feng Mian bit her lips and her eyes are starting to water. Xie Lufeng saw this and immediately went to her aid. He hugged her, placing his hand on her back and on top of her head. He had a look of disdain aiming at me.

"Fei Hong! Don't bully Mi'er. It's not her fault that I cheated on you. Be angry at me! Only me. Just don't include Mi'er in this." What? Mi'er? So they have an endearment now. How sweet. I coldly looked at them, hatred slowly growing in my heart.

"Why though?" I asked. "Why did you cheated?" I asked him as if I didn't care that he's actually hugging my best friend as if he's afraid that she would leave him.

He gave me a mocking look. "Are you seriously asking me that? Fei Hong I don't love you. I never did. The only reason I courted you was because of Mi'er. It was whon I truly love but she won't even spare me a glance. That's why I thought if I courted you she would notice me. And she did." I saw Feng Mian smirking towards me but it soon disappeared as if it didn't happened. I noticed that we gained some of the people's attention.

I am hurt. Deeply hurt. Nothing hurts more than seeing your own best friend betraying you. And seeing act like this makes me wanna give her a standing ovation. Feng Mian released herself from Xie Lufeng's hug and turned towards me.

"You know what? Enough of the drama. You see Fei Hong, Feng didn't really loved you. He never did. He came to me and told me that he wasn't actually happy being with you.

I see. She really did a good job pretending. I couldn't find myself to speak. 'What are you going to do now Fei Hong?' I thought. I tried to talk. I wanted to scream at them. To tell them that I loved them as my family. But I guess, this is how it ends huh.
