Standing before the castle's door, Isla watched as Sebastian mounted his steed. Beside her was Adam, looking straight at Sebastian's back.

It felt like cutting off a tumor.

He was finally going to leave this land, even if only for a couple of weeks.

But there was something else. Something was different. Something changed.

As he finished mounting, he turned to Isla. His eyes looked at her in something similar to disdain. A vibe he had never shown her before.

He said something Isla couldn't hear. Beside his horse was Callum Zoran, that was listening to him. The man nodded.

Then, Sebastian left, just like that, without a word to Isla.

Isla blinked her eyes, frowning. Callum turned to her and climbed the stairs, nodding and sighing, "His Majesty is in a weird mood. My Lady, did you fight?"

"Is it really your place to say that?" Adam asked, staring sharply into his eyes.
