The man did not follow them but closed the door as soon as they entered inside the room he had gestured to earlier.

It was a modest place with few candles and some small furniture. There were no windows and yet somehow it felt airy and calm. In the middle, a coffee table was resting along with four chairs. 

However, in the decent setting, the only man stood out most. He was wearing a hood that shrouded his face in the darkness, but even the small curve of his lips was enough to make anyone curious about him. There was something in the way he carried himself that spoke of royalty.

"It's been a long time," he bowed politely.

Nesrin stiffened and returned the gesture with the same politeness. It was Jeremiah and her doubts were confirmed when he pushed the hood back and offered both of them a seat.

He didn't smile as he would always do, instead, there was a graveness that spoke volumes even when he said nothing.
