1 The dream

Ariana (POV)

I was surrounded by woods and soon it was going to become dark and I decided to go back to my house but suddenly someone attacked me and I attacked back with my palm showing straight to her from which blue light came out to attack her while she was releasing red light there's no doubt she was stronger than me and suddenly more enemies came into my view so, I decided to attack with my another palm and then I felt weak by continuously attacking them, my magic started to drown me. In a meanwhile, I felt someone's presence beside me and he started fighter with me, I didn't concentrate much to who was he because I was concentrating with the enemy and then it started raining and our enemies are scared of water so they ran away and I thought to see who came to fight along with me but then everything went black.

Now, I felt someone was calling my name and shaking me like hell, and soon I felt like drowning. I started feeling cold when recognition hit me and my eyes flashed open. Yeah, it was a dream and it was my dad who was shaking me and he is the one who throws a bucket of water to get me up.

"Dad!! Why did you throw water on me?" I whined making my dad roll his eyes.

"Because it's time for a jog. Now, get up"

"Yeah, sure Dad" 15 minutes later, I was ready for a jog with a sports top with matching shorts and wore my sport shoe.

"Dad, I am ready shall we go?" I asked him who was waiting for me at the doorstep.

"Let's go" We went to the park and we were now jogging.

I like my father very much because he is the only one for me and he acts two roles in my life. He is my dad as well as my mom. Yes, I don't have a mother because she died when I was 7. My father always made sure to not make me miss my mother. I don't have a mother but dad always did his best so that I don't feel the loneliness of my mom and full fill everything that I asked him to do. I am very happy that I have him as my father and yes, I like to argue with him very much because he too likes that. I have read his diary one day secretly and it has written that he and my mom used to argue a lot but it never accelerated too much further. So I decided to argue with him and yes he didn't mind because he enjoys it. My father is a gym teacher and he always makes sure that I eat healthy food and if I get a little wound he would act like I will get an amputation. I don't know why he fell so insecure about me, but never mind I like him when he acts like that, it makes me feel like I am the most important person in his life. During our jogging, we were silent so I decided to break it.

"Dad?"

"Yes"

"I think you are gaining weight"

"That's not possible because I always jog with you and eat healthy food then how I can gain weight. If I gain weight then you do as usual"

"Dad! I didn't gain wait ok." I whined making him smirk in my direction.

"Haha! Are you sure?" he teases making me roll my eyes.

(A/N: I didn't mean that people who are fat are not good.)

"Yes, one hundred percent sure." He chuckles making me smile too.

"OK, you win. Let go" I tilted my head in confusion before speaking.

"Go, where?" of course, how stupid of me.

"Home"

"Oh! But we have only jogged for 1 hour"

Don't forget you have to go to school today, your summer vacations are over and now you are senior. You shouldn't be late, right? Dad replied. He is always like this being punctual.

"Right" I said. We return from the jog to our neighbourhood and from here we can see that someone was shifting to our neighbourhood making me frown. Who could it be? They are shifting this early morning can't believe but why should I bother. I thought. Dad and I headed inside our house.

"Aari, I am going to cook breakfast until then go and get ready for your school."

"Ok dad",

I went to my room and started brushing my teeth and after that, I started to take shower, within 15minutes I completed my daily morning routine and I wore my school uniform which is a white shirt with a dark blue coat and a dark blue skirt which reached my knee. I combed my brown hair into a ponytail which goes till my waist and yes I have very long hair. I applied some mascara and foundation. Now I was ready for school I took my schoolbag filled with my belonging books and stationery items not forgetting to keep my paintbrush and color pencils because I love drawing cartoons.

I headed to the kitchen where my dad was cooking. I sat on the dining chair and yes I was not hurried because I have half an hour to go to school and I always go to school on time because I don't want to get late but it doesn't mean I am a nerd because I don't like studying.. Dad served me milk, cereals, oat, fried egg with toast.

"Dad? You know that I can't eat this much"

"Aari you should be healthy always, finish it all" his stern voice said making me cross my arms across my chest.

"Dad? You are advising me to eat this much but what about you? You are eating only cereals and that's not fair" I complained making him roll his eyes.

"All is fair because you'd said that I'm gaining weight so I should eat less now it's fair, right" Dad replied with a smirk making me facepalm myself.

"But, then you have told me that I am gaining weight too and so I am only going to eat cereal, ok" I replied while copying his smirking.

"Then what about fried egg with toast and oat?" dad asked

"Since you have made it you can eat dad" I replied, I can feel someone enter our house after knocking and I know who it is? He is my childhood friend "Rain Skyler"

"Hi! Rain, what's up?" I asked

"Hello!! Aari, I am fine" He said excitedly.

"Rain? Did you had breakfast?" Dad asked him.

"Yes Uncle Gonzales" Dad shook his head.

"I have made breakfast for you too since I know you were coming now what about the breakfast that I made for you?" Dad lied to him because he didn't make breakfast for him and he even doesn't want to waste food and since it doesn't look good to say that this food will be wasted if he doesn't eat. So, he just said he prepared for him too.

"Uncle Gonzales, I can eat more" Rain said, Dad grin at him and serve his plate full of breakfast.

"Let's start eating otherwise we will be late for school" I said to both of them and they nodded their head. After finishing our breakfast in silence we headed to our school with our bicycle.

"Bye, dad" I waved him

"Bye, Aari" Dad replied

"Bye, uncle Gonzale" Rain said to dad and dad replied him back

After coming out of the house I saw a boy who was nearly my age and he was wearing a white shirt with a dark blue coat and dark blue long pants and it was the same uniform that our school has and then he slid in his car and drove away.

"Are they new neighbors of yours?" Rain asked.

"Yeah! I think so?" I replied with a shrugged and it was more than like a question.

Suddenly I remembered something very important and I didn't tell rain because if I say to him he won't come in the lunch hour and I think he forgot about that because it's already one week when we bet about if I win in the video game then he has to eat my tiffin which consists of all vegetables like broccoli, carrot, peas, etc.. Our school is not so far from our house so, we always take the bicycle for school. We reached our school in 15 minutes.
