1 Chapter I Bad news

Going through all the documents on the desk,there was nothing really to be done.The coffee I was drinking had already turned cold.I had been busy trying to find a solution to save our company.

In the back of my mind I cept recalling the deal I had been given by Damien.I didn't want to consider it since My brother Brandon was working on a project to save the company.I had not slept a wink last night,I kept tossing and turning thinking of how we were going to solve the problems.

It started when Brandon discovered that the company was going under.someome was buying shares and that made whoever bought the ,to have a bigger shares and worse most of the employees were quiting saying they found other jobs far away.even an idiot could tell someone somewhere had a vendata against our family and I was going to find out who was out get us.

Standing up from the seat that I had been for hours ,I stretched my muscles and groaned hmm that felt great.I had a huge crash from down stairs.What the hell was That.Leaving the home office, I found my brother Brandon passing up and down angrly on the lounge while dad looked like the rug had been pulled from under his feet.

There was a glass that was broken "what happened"? "dad,Dad looked like he had aged ten years."we lost the contract" dad said."what"what...what do you mean we lost the contract" "exactly" Brandon said angrly , everything was set but they decided to give it to someone else on the last minute"how dare they do this"?

That contract was the option left to save our company and Bam! it went to hell.They both looked exaughsted. They had been doing everything to save it and now it was lost.

Taking a seat next to dad ,I took his hands in mine"ohh dear" he sighed while patting my hand "we will get through this" "of course we will dad," I'm not going to let you loose the company you've worked hard to build it from the ground, you guys have always taken care of me ,now let me take care of you"

"What are you going to do we don't have a lot of options left,I'm not going to let you get into trouble,I'm the eldest it's my job to take care of the family"

"I'm not a kid anymore Dan"I shouted"enough both of you," it's my job to take care of my family,I'm your father so it's my responsibility" "if we loose the company that s our legasy down the drain" seline you are not doing anything crazy"

"dad come on, what do you think I'm going to do, I need you to trust me ,I can take care of my self " "and what exactly are you going to do" he asked angrily someone is out there trying to destroy our family and you want to what,""

"And what you want me to just sit around and wait for whoever that bastard is to just finish us off"??I'm going out to take care of something, you taught me, that family comes first " "You might be all grown up,but you'll always be the baby of the family"Brandon looked like I was going to make a deal with the devil,in a way making a deal with Damien was,but I wasn't going to tell them that

Giving them both a kiss on the cheek,I left smiling even though inside I was trembling wth fear. Taking the car, I drove to Montero Corp.I meet Damien Montero through my uncle on a conference he has a reputation for being ruthless no onee is stupid enough to mess with him good for me for whoever is messing with my family ,is not going to get on his wrong side. well,he's the only option left I had to accept his propasal ,a marriage of convinince we both get what we want, what could go wrong??!
