Character introductions

In a world where soulmates have matching tattoos on their arms, and every pair of soulmates had a uniquely different tattoo from the next. A tattoo artist and owner of River Brook tattoo parlor that covers up his distinct tattoo with his clothes, meets a guy who works at a cafe down the street from him with a tattoo that looks quite familiar.

The cafe worker swears he's straight but he knows he isn't. This is the tale of how a shy but kind depressed "emo" tattoo artist met a bubbly kind-hearted cafe worker. You know, it's the kind of story everyone needs once in a while, a romantic, sad, a bit tragic and violent, yet still happy story. The story of Rin Brooks and Dillon Truman, an unexpected love story that happens way too often in real life, but isn't really ever documented unless it's in fanfictions. Hey, just stating the truth. Now, onto the story of how opposites collide and attract.

Well, not exactly... [I should still tell you about how the two characters look! If I didn't, it'd leave you a bit confused now, wouldn't it? You need a face to go with the main characters.] You will learn about their backstories and personalities the more you get into the book.

Now, for Rin's description. Rin is 5' 9", a tall yet average height. He's 24 and he is Irish despite the name, he is really pale and has freckles all over his face, he has quite a few tattoos, he's on the skinny but muscular side of the triangle there. He has piercings on his nose, lips, tongue, ears, and even on his nipples. He usually wears eyeliner under his one blue eye and one almost gold eye. Yes, he has a condition where one of his eyes is a different color than the other. He wears a blue contact over the other eye though. He has fully black hair that is straight on top and he always has the sides short and the top long so he can put it in his signature top knot.

[I should probably tell you a bit about Dillon now, shouldn't I?] Well, Dillon is 5' 6", three inches shorter than Rin. He's 22 and Dillon is of Canadian descent, just wanted to let you know. He has naturally amber curly hair that is shaved on the sides and a bit long on the top, he also has black glasses that frame his face just right.

He is a light tan color, and you will always find him with his headphones around his neck, and I forgot to mention he has blue eyes. Even at work he has headphones on, and when he is not in uniform for work, he loves to wear pastel colors and overalls, or any of his fandom shirts. He loves wearing bracelets, and has a belly button ring, he sometimes wears makeup since he wants to be feminine one day and masculine the next. He wants to make sure that everyone knows he doesn't care, because he's him and no one can change that. The only tattoo he has is a rainbow dragon with unique symbols on its head and wings, which is his soulmate-finder. [Now, onto the story.]
