The First Encounter

Anyway, enough drama, I should pick up speed by now since I'm technically running late for all the errands I have to do, Filipino routine never gets old.

Even if I'm running late, I absolutely have nothing to worry about my enrollment since I've done it after a week school ended.

The only thing I'm concerned about is that a lot of people might hoard my favorite ramen noodles at the grocery store, and that's why I'm heading there first.

If you are into working out, do not mind my unhealthy eating habits, I'll be doing fine.

As I drove downtown, there was not much traffic, making it easier for me to cruise my way over to my destination.

Upon my arrival, I rolled down the window, and saw a few people checking each grocery aisle, I then moved and parked right in front of the ramen aisle which had no costumers at all, so I think no one did hoard my ramen.

Before I left the car, a guard approached me holding out a parking fee, I paid ₱40 for it.

"Thank you for choosing us," the guard said, giving me the parking fee.

I smiled, grabbing the fee. "You're welcome."

I placed the fee in my wallet, and then head toward the entrance where all the shopping carts are. I grabbed one on my way inside.

I love shopping. I loved the smell of scented, air conditioned mall. I would basked in the attention of sales staff and pawed over the delicious but unhealthy foods, wondering if I could ever maintain a balanced diet.

I also have dislikes about shopping. I really hate the crowds, the queues and the aching feet. There are also some creepy sales staff that follows you around the whole time, it's like they're tailing on you, felt like you are about to be robbed.

Before I visit the ramen aisle, I checked out the ice cream section, the freezer was being stacked high with some of my favorites.

I have a few favorite flavors, Vanilla, Mint Chocolate Chip, Cookies N', Cream, Pistachio, Cookie Dough and Coffee Fudge.

Yes, I know it's unhealthy, stop slapping it on my face over and over again.

I grabbed 2 gallons of Cookies N' Cream, I'm literally in love with this flavor, it's the love of my life or is it?

No one hoarded the ramen noodles, but they did hoard the milk, one of them left a gallon for me, how thoughtful of them.

Before I could grab the last gallon, a guy cut in front of me reaching in decisively, he just straight up grabbed the gallon and looked at me like he doesn't care.

Honestly, the guy was handsome, but that is not a valid reason for me to just let him take what's mine.

His hairstyle was heavily influenced by the Korean actors, the wavy parted one. It looks good on him, so I'm not complaining at all.

That type of hairstyle isn't common here in Philippines, most men have undercuts and crew cuts, so he's not like the rest, he stands out.

He was like 6'3 tall and physically fit.

He's not wearing any jewelries, I'm actually surprised because most men wears one, but he still looks slightly dangerous, it's scaring me.

He's wearing a black long sleeve polo which was tucked into his grey pants, the sleeves were also rolled up, and was wearing white loafers.

His eye color makes him stand out the most, it sets him apart from everyone, it's like he's a son of a werewolf, there are only 2 out of 7 billion people that has yellow eyes.

He's the first one I kn- oh wait, Franco has yellow eyes too, they're both the same.

After eyeing him up and down, I confronted him about stealing the milk from me, I know it sounds wrong, but it's not what you think it is.

"Excuse me?" I confronted, pointing at the milk, "I saw that first, so give it back."

He laughs, looking at the milk then back to me, "Yes, you saw it first," he replied, "But I grabbed it first, so it's mine."

"I need it more than you do." I said, glaring at him, "so give it back now."

"I'll ask you questions," he replied, "if you answer them honestly, you win a prize."

I rolled my eyes, "Ugh, fine. Hurry, you're wasting time."

He sniggered, "Are you single?"

"Yes." I replied.

"Are you a female?" He added.

"Yes, are you blind?" I replied.

"Are you in love?" He continued.

"Yes." I replied.

All of his questions are probably answerable with yes, so I'm gonna ace this.

"Will you give this milk to me?" He asked his final question.

"Yes." I replied.

He sniggered, "Thank you!"

My eyes widened as soon as I realized that I had given away the last gallon of milk to a stranger, this is why we don't get too confident.

"Wait?! What?!" I exclaimed, "Hey get back here, that's mine!!"

"A deal is a deal." He replied, pushing his cart, his back turned.

I sighed in frustration, if I see him again I'm gonna rip his throat out.

We will meet again Mr. K.....
