Skylar's POV -

I jump awake as cold water was thrown at me. I  was trembling and my teeth chattering slightly. I look up and there is a guy that's maybe 6'2 or 6'3, he just stood there watching me and using the towel he had in hand to dry my face and then threw it on my head. He stood there in silence until the door opened. A tall, studly man. He was extremely tall, even taller than 6'3 more around 6'5

" Your friends have been useless. Good thing I saved the best for last." He chuckles and I give out a muffled snarl.

"Calm down, mutt. They're fine. For now. Now, where is the necklace?!"

" What are you talking about?" He grunts

" MY NECKLACE. The billion dollar necklace your father stole from me"

" Who are you anyways?"

" Answer the question!!"

" I don't know!!"

" Fine. Any necklaces your father has ever given you?"

" Lots."

" any with special meaning?"

" Uh only two"

" Okay tell me what they are?"

" Well Ones a moon pendant and the other is a necklace that belonged to my mother"

" Ugh he could've altered to look like whatever he wanted" he murmured

" Look dude, you said it cost a billion dollar right? Well if that's all you want just ask for ransom or something my dad has more than enough money to pay for it."

" That's not the point!"

" Then what is?!"

" I- it has a personal value"

" Hmm, right." He gets angry and back handed slaps me

" What the fuck! I was trying to help you!"

" Where are they?" he says grabbing my hair and pulling my head back. I growl

"Fuck you"

" Find those necklaces!" He says to the guy by the door. They both leave but not before he injects a needle into my neck making me pass out again.

I feel my body spiking with the cold. I wake up and the guy from earlier threw cold water on me.

He holds up the two necklaces one on each hand.

" Which one is it?!"

" How the fuck should I know?"

Moon pendant:

Mom's necklace:

" How about I just take both?" I growl.

" Give me- Give them back!"

" Which one do you want back? Hmm, the heiress pendant or your mom's queen pendant. I'd guess the heiress since y' know I bet your mom left a pretty big hole in your heart huh but then again it is your mom. Well unless you want me to kill your friends and take both of your precious necklaces then you're gonna help me figure out which of the two necklaces is the one I need"

" Look I got them both around the same time. My dad gave me my moms necklace maybe about a year after my mom left and the moon one maybe a few months after that when I turned 10."

" When is your birthday?"

" December 14th" he seems to think for awhile

" did your dad give you any jewelry or anything like that when you were born?" I stay quiet for that pretending to think but already knowing the answer too well

" No." I lie " but he did give me my first bracelet when I was 2 although I don't know where that is now"

" do you an idea of where it might be now?

" probably broken by now"

" Mmm. You're gonna talk to your dad today. Make him tell me where it is"

" Not before I know you're name."

" like you have a choice." he says grabbing me wet hair and pulling it out the room and drags me to another room. I take notes of everything I could see and once we go inside I massage my head and groan.

" Skylar..." a deep voice says from the screen
