202 Moving Out

Yu Youhan opened the door and glanced inside still holding the doorknob. He wasn't faking a smile just scrutinizing her with his eyes. Lu Xinyi smiled genuinely, she was really happy to see him and skipped to him.

She held his hand that was on the doorknob and pulled him inside. She gave him a friendly kiss on the cheek like she did all days.

She made him sit on the couch and sat by him still holding his hand. "How was your day?" Lu Xinyi asked him with a smile as she poured him water with her free hand.

Yu Youhan looked at the paper-covered painting on the other couch then the crumbled and the torn paper messes but didn't comment or ask. Lu Xinyi who was now extending her hand with a glass of water and wasn't interesting in discussing the elephant in the room as yet.
