"So gentlemanly of you." Lei Xinyi spat in a sarcastic tone and in reply Li Yuan only smirked.

Gritting her teeth Lei Xinyi stood up dusted off her dress, and passed pass Li Yuan and sat in the car. Following her Li Yuan also went and sat in the car pulling a reverse gear.

Li Yuan realized that the woman could only play nice when she is a step away from death.

He had never been fond of his chosen fiancé, he always thought she wasn't fit to be his wife. But even then he wouldn't allow her to play with his male ego.

After all it's the most insulting thing for a man to become a cuckold...

Once inside the car Lei Xinyi ignored the man beside her and pulled out wipes and hand-mirror from her bag. She started removing her ruined makeup and throwing the used wipes deliberately in his car.

As she reapplied her makeup she kept her focus on Li Yuan from her peripheral view, Lei Xinyi felt slightly irked as he wasn't annoyed or irritated by her act.

Didn't man like their cars tidied and treasured?! What is up with him.....?! Maybe it's because he can buy so many of them!

Thinking about it like that she decided to change her approach, She asked in a fake sweet tone "So is it that you are on your periods that you are having mood swings or are you plain bipolar."

Li Yuan smirked thinking how the woman who was so humble a while ago was being frank enough to tease him. Maybe they had made a 'strange' kind of progress in their relationship.

"You didn't think that a while ago, huh? Wasn't I your love of life then?" Li Yuan asked in teasing tone.

Being reminded of the situation she gritted her teeth and as she opened her mouth to say something, Li Yuan phone ringed.

Looking at the phone, Li Yuan smirked and turned to Lei Xinyi and said in a threatening low voice that gave her goosebumps, "Don't you dare say a word unnecessarily."

Keeping the phone on speaker, Li Yuan whole demeanor changed and he spoke in a jolly voice, "Hello Mr. Lu. Good Afternoon!"

Mr. Lu as in her supposed father? Why the hell now he was calling?

"Where is my daughter?" The stern and cold voice of Master Lu was heard from the other side.

'No greetings back? No bootlicking? Didn't he know of Li Yuan reputation? Such a strange thing but looking at the shades of Li Yuan face getting darker it may have been the first time.' Lei Xinyi thought.

"She's with me; she was feeling low so I brought her out on a long drive for fresh air. Why are you asking father in law? Is everything alright?" Li Yuan said in his calm voice with a tinge of fake worry as he brought the car back on the road.

Anybody would think he was being a considerate man by his worried tone, but Lei Xinyi could tell he was fu*king mocking by his smirk and the mirth in his eyes.

He even called him father-in-law to sound more ambiguous and what long drive? He was outright trying to kill her. What fresh fu*king air?! Did he mean the fresh air she got half hanging off the cliff.

How cunning this vile spawn is?! Lei Xinyi inwardly rolled her eyes..

But unlike Lei Xinyi, who didn't buy his acts, Master Lu seemed quite impressed, as his voice softened abruptly, "No Son, everything's good. We elders were having lunch together. Why don't you join us?"

Li Yuan smirked widened, "Umm… Daddy we would, but Xinyi is quite tired we…. did some vigorous activities on the cliff, so we may join you some other time."

Lei Xinyi eyes widened at Li Yuan's answer, he deliberately made it sound like that….

Lei Xinyi wasn't the only one Master Lu seemed embarrassed too, as he hesitantly said, "…Okay. Son, don't forget to send her home on time."

After all it hadn't been more than a day his daughter joined her fiancé's company and it was too much to call 'development'.

"Sure Dad, We won't disturb you guys anymore." Li Yuan said in his merry tone and hung up.

Lei Xinyi scoffed and rolled her eye then said in a mocking tone, "Mr. Lu, father-in-law, Daddy, Dad… Aren't you making quite a progress, huh?"

Seeing no change in his smirk or behavior Lei Xinyi was getting irked, she scoffed, "We did some vigorous activities?! Is that your way of trying to satisfy your fantasies, hmmm?"

Still seeing no change in his temper Lei Xinyi had an urge to smash her head against the dashboard.

As a last try to anger him, Lei Xinyi gave him a disgusted look and said sarcastically, "You do realize how fake you are, right? A fox in deer's skin, clever, manipulative and cunning!"

Finally realizing it was futile, she turned her focus out of the window. The city was quite a masterpiece, she hadn't been out in this part of the city .…

"Get out." She heard Li Yuan imposing voice from behind her.

As Lei Xinyi looked out of the window for safety, who knows where this psycho may bring her but this wasn't a deep-mire.
