Chapter 2

I wanted that moment to last forever but a sudden disturbing noise broke our eye contact...

It was the moronic, irritating bell of our school indicating the start of our first class. I don't remember the subject because I was thinking about him all through the classes. The way our eyes met, that weird feeling, everything felt surreal.

I was just waiting for the bell to ring. Life can be so stupid sometimes, the bell rang so early when I wanted it not to but then when I wanted it to ring, it just didn't. Well, I was being stupid, it is relativity but then I didn't know about that. Anyways, finally, the bell rang and I grabbed my lunch box and rushed towards one of my besties. The school canteen never made anything appetizing or edible for me. I wonder how others eat there.

I chose to ask Naomi about that guy cause as I had noticed, that guy used to hang out with Naomi's boyfriend, Sebastian Martin. Seb is really a nice guy. He is more like a brother to me than a friend. I got her hands on it and dragged her to the place where the boys usually hang out. She was completely confused by my actions.

N: Geez, hang on Ms Brown. What's the matter, babe?

me: Oh, it's just that I wanted to ask you something. ( I rested my hands on her wrist)

N: You could have said that in the canteen. It...

me: Oh for god's sake, listen to me first. I wanted to ask you about someone, to be more precise, about a boy...

N: Oooooh Interesting...

me: No it's not. Okay, tell me, who is that boy standing next to Seb?

N: Oh he is Andrew. Why, what happened?

me: No no that one. I know him already. The one standing on the other side of Seb and rushing his hand constantly through his hair. Who is he? I never really noticed him. Is he a fresher?

N: No!!! he is been in this school since the first and his name is Carsten George.

me: Carsten George, nice name.

N: So why did you ask?

me: No just like that. I thought he is a fresher. Silly me. ( I faked an "I don't care" expression)

I just casually turned around pretending as if I really don't care about him. But in reality, my brain was constantly chanting his name. " Carsten George, a perfect name for a perfect guy. " I mumbled to myself.

Naomi: Uhh, excuse me?

me: Er.., no nothing. Let's go have our Lunch.

Naomi gave me an unusual smirk, indicating that she got a hint of what was going on. That's what best friends are for.

After what had happened, I couldn't concentrate on the rest of my classes. Even after reaching home, I was wondering about those butterflies in my stomachs. Not gonna lie he was, he is and he will be my worst distraction ever. Since that day, I had my daily routine: Waking up still wondering about him, going to school, searching for him, staring at him all day, studying a little if my little heart allowed me to, coming back home, finishing homework while thinking about him, going to sleep, and repeat. This was followed for a month or so.

One day, almost after a month, I was about to follow my self-made timetable but it seemed life had other plannings for me that day...
