1 Chapter 1 : the Night of the Massacre(1)

Year 515 of the new era calendar,

Inside a wooden house in the dark alley, a handsome man and a beautiful woman in a majestic gown while holding a child is kneeling in front of an amiably-looking old man, sitting in a wooden chair. The old man that they are currently kneeling to has a clear, majestic, and blue eyes looking at them with a smiling face.

"Your excellency, this lowly one is asking a favor from you" said the person kneeling while bowing

"It's been a long time since someone visited this old bones of mine and asked a favor from me" he said smilingly while looking at the two kneeling person in front of him.

"Is it already starting ?... Have you decided? " he said while standing and walking to a small table with a pot of tea that is clearly been just prepared at the current time.

"Your brother is a very ambitious and greedy man, He wants to stand above the entire mortal world, you should know the consequence of having him unite the swords into its original form." he added while pouring tea inside the cup without looking at them.

"I know." the handsome man said while looking at the person who is sitting in a wooden chair.

The entire room is filled with silence and the sound of the water pouring inside the cup.

The old man finished pouring tea and sat back on his wooden chair.

"Sigh~ Since you have decided I will only help you this once. I will bring the child with me and bring him to a very far place away from this continent" he said while looking at the child held by his mother.

"Thank you! your excellency" the man said without hesitations

"Lin-er, give Bai-er to him. This is the only way for our child to survive this catastrophe." he added while looking at his teary wife.

"Bai-er, always remember this *sniff *sniff , your mother and your father has to do something very important and probably wouldn't meet you after this catastrophe", she said while putting a jade pendant on the child she is currently holding.

"Bai-er, if you are missing your mother and father just hold into this pendant look at the skies, and we will know that you are missing us" she added while caressing the fluffy cheeks of her son.

The old man held the child and look at them with a meaningful gaze and fly in the sky before they start to vanish in a split second.

"Husband, will Bai-er be really safe in the hands of the normal looking old man?" the beautiful woman said while looking at the handsome man.

"Lin-er, in the entire world if he can't even save Bai-er, no one can" the handsome man said smilingly while looking at the sky where his child and the old man vanished before walking back to the palace.

The woman just took a meaningful glance to her husband and then look back to where the two of them vanished before following him.
