Chapter 1: The peaceful days are over

It was an ordinary day in the life of our protagonist Sky. Attending regular lectures in college just for the sake of maintaining the attendance. He was sitting by the window staring at river outside, lost in his thoughts. Teacher was teaching something about the microprocessors. Students, some seriously paying attention to the teacher, some scrolling through social media, back benchers either chatting or playing games.

But, this scenario changes when a woman in black leather dress enters the class room without any warning, points the gun towards the window and "baaam", a loud voice echoes in everyone's ears. Some peoples surprised, some shocked, most of them still processing in their mind what just happened.

Looking at the blood splashed on window a girls screamed "Kyaaaaaah!".

People noticed what happened, they started panicking, screaming and running out of the classroom. But they suddenly stopped when they heard a huge scream from the direction of the window, all they could see was a flash of light and a silhouette of a person in it.

"Aughhhhhhhh!" screamed Sky, "Hey you, even though I'm immortal, it still hurts you fucking bitch!"

Flash of light has faded, all of his wounds have been healed, and he was angry. Staring viciously at the woman who shot him.

People were confused as to what they were looking at. Sky was shot in the head, his blood was all over the window, then why was he still alive?

"Impossible, how can you be still alive?" said the leather dress woman, "I made sure to hit you in the head with this specially made Silver Bullets enchanted by the high priests of the church."

"Listen you bitch" said Sky angrily, "Did you seriously believed you can kill me with such kind of things."

"But, this were highest class of Anti Vampire bullets in the archives." said the woman.

"Look, I don't give a damn about the shit you have been blabbering about. I'm the last surviving Vampire and all I wanted was to live my life peacefully. But, now you have messed it all up by revealing my secret to everyone." said Sky, "Now, you will have to pay the price for this."

The moment he finished his sentence, he was holding the leather dress woman by her neck in the air. Nobody was able to notice how he got there so fast. The woman was struggling in his hands.

"For the efforts you made to kill me, I shall ask your name before I crush your neck." said Sky, "Now, speak."

Struggling in his hands the woman tries to speak, "Aughh, khh, Maria, my name is Maria."

"Maria, huh, I shall remember your name, now rest in piece." said Sky.

But before he could crush her neck, Maria shot him in the chest and emptied her pistol in his body. He loosen his grip and Maria falls on the floor. While catching hold of her breath she pressed a button on the device attached on her waist which signaled for the backup.

Meanwhile, Sky healed again, but being hit by too many enchanted silver bullets has taken a toll on his body. He has a headache. When he come to senses and moves towards Maria the backup arrives.

"Stand back you filthy vamp-." said one of the guard, but before he could finish his sentence Sky cut his throat with just a single swing of his hands. Other guards still surprised. Before they could process anything Sky beheaded all of them in an instant. Blood all over in the room. People were in panic but couldn't move because they were afraid what will happen to them if they made a move.

"Oh, you still had energy to call this small fries for my entertainment" said Sky picking up Maria, "huh, Maria, you made me really angry now."

"No, please forgi-" before maria could finish her sentence Sky crushed her neck and split her body in two.

When he looked around, there was a puddle of blood on the entrance of the classroom, his classmates were looking at him with scared eyes, they couldn't even speak, some girls crying in the corner. Sky, knew now that he doesn't belong to this place anymore. He jumped outside the window and ran away.

While running away he thought, "So, this is how it ends, huh, and here I thought I would graduate from college without any trouble."

He returned to his house, threw away his bag in his room, picked up the photo frame on his desk and sat on his bed. The photo was of his dead parents.

"Looks like peaceful days in my life are now over." said Sky while looking at the picture of his parents, "Sorry, I couldn't keep my promise without you."

Tears welled up in his eyes. All he wanted was to live a peaceful life, but it all ended because of today's incident.

While looking at the picture he remembers his past.
