The Mikaelson's meet Alec

"What did you do to her, Niklaus?" Asked Elijah, approaching

"What did I? If it weren't for me, she would be dead by now. I saved her." he replied rudely.

He went to the entrance to the house and Regina gave the two vampires permission to enter.

Klaus laid Maria down on the sofa and they were all silent, staring at her body, unconscious of her.

"What has happened?" questioned the original nobleman

"She was attacked by hunters and hit by three wooden bullets. They were ready to kill her when I showed up."

2What the hell is going on?"

A young man unknown to the Mikaelson brothers entered the room, looking concerned.

"Take it easy, Alec. It's all right." said Sofia.

"What are they doing here? I swear if they were the ones who hurt Maria, I ..."

"You what?" interrupted the hybrid.

The original wasted no time leaning the boy against the wall.

"Did you lose your voice?" Niklaus laughed.

"Leave him alone, Klaus." Maria's voice was heard.

The original hybrid turned to face the trybrid and released Alec.

"Why? Don't tell me he's your boyfriend."

"Not by chance, but even if it were, that is none of your business." she replied arrogantly.

"Are you okay?" asked Elijah, touching her arm lightly.

Maria stepped away from his touch and responded in the same tone as she had answered Klaus.

"Yea."

The witch left the room and went outside.

Niklaus went after her but Elijah grabbed her arm, preventing him from doing so.

Maria took out her cell phone and dialed a number that is well known to her.

"Mary?" was heard on the other side of the line.

"Hello Derek. How are you?"

"Good and you? How was your return to New Orleans?"

"Difficult but I can handle it." she paused "I was wondering if there is any chance of you coming to visit me?"

"You know I loved it but I don't know if I can. Things in Beacon Hills are a little complicated."

Maria was immediately alarmed.

"What is up?"

"Some problems with hunters. The story is complicated." he explained

"Hey, Hale! Who are you talking to?" came a voice from the background calling for Derek.

"Maria, I have to go. Then do we talk better?"

"All right, Derek. Take care, little wolf."

The vampire hung up the call and went back inside.

However, in the small town of Beacon Hills, Scott and his Pack were trying to deal with one of his many problems.

They were at Deaton's clinic and Derek had just joined the group.

"Who was it?" asked Scott

"It's not of your business." he replied immediately.

"I apologize," said Alpha, then changing the subject "We have to find out where Gerard and his hunters are. We all know how dangerous they are."

"And how do you plan to do that, genius?" asked Theo

"I hate to say this, Scott, I really do ... But he's right." said Stiles.

"I know exactly who can help." said Deaton, catching everyone's attention.

"She threatened me and exploded the coffee machine, Marcel!" exclaimed Camille

"She was angry! Maria didn't expect you to reveal that you had been with her." The vampire tried to explain.

"The Mikaelson's deserved to know. I did it for them."

"You didn't do it for them. You did it for him." said Marcellus.

The blonde was silent, not knowing what to say to Marcel.

They were silent for a few minutes and the brunette was taking a sip of bourbon.

"Tell me more about their story, Marcel." asked the human

"There's not much I can tell you about that." He looked at her "They started to get involved when Maria was 14 and stayed together for two years. They were the sensation couple of that time."

"Did they love each other?"

"She loved him. He, I have no idea ... after that night, I stopped being sure of everything that included this family."

He put down his glass and touched Cami's hand.

"I know you're worried, Cami, but you don't have to. If Maria wanted him back, she would already have him."

"Well, I was thinking and I had an idea." Maria spoke, entering the room and ignoring the presence of the Original brothers.

"It is not right to ignore your guests, Mar." Nik said with his strong accent and staring at the brunette "I was waiting for a thank you for saving your life."

"You can wait seated, Niklaus. You didn't save me a century ago but you saved today. It even amazes me that you're not having a party for once in your life that you were the hero and not the villain."

Maria sat on Alec's lap, not caring about Elijah's gaze.

Klaus laughed at the comment of the trybrid and commented:

"Very daring. I must say that I don't even recognize you, love. You didn't assume it was this way ... except in bed, then you knew what to do. It is a pity that no one here can confirm what I am saying."

"Actually, you can ask Alec. He knows how good I am in bed better than you do." she replied, giving a teasing smile at the end.

The original nobleman tried to maintain his posture in the face of this comment from the trybrid

Sofia, in an attempt to end the provocations between the old couple, decided to change the subject.

"What was that idea that you had?"

"I thought we could organize a ball. You know, to celebrate our arrival in the city and my permanent return. I know it's been a few days, but it's never too late to let people know we're here." she explained "You two could take care of things."

The humans nodded enthusiastically. They had already gone to two dances but it was always for school, so they couldn't wait to organize such a grand and glamorous event.

"I think it's time for Niklaus and I to leave." said Elijah.

"I'll be waiting for our invitation to the ball at the mansion." said Klaus, before disappearing with his brother.

"We are going up, we are a little tired. See you tomorrow."

Sofia and Regina went upstairs, leaving the two friends alone.

Maria got out of Alec's lap and picked up a glass, filling it with bourbon.

"These two are persistent and irritating." commented the human.

Maria knew Alec too well and immediately understood what was going on. She turned to him and questioned playfully:

"Are you jealous of them, Alec?"

"Where were you?" Rebekah asked, as soon as Klaus and Elijah returned home

"They went to have fun together, don't you see, Rebekah? They made up for the fact that Nik had bitten Elijah out of jealousy." Kol explained, smiling.

"Careful, Kol. The daggers are still stored and you know perfectly well that I am not afraid to use them."

"We were at Maria's house."

"Seriously?" the original blonde stood up

"Yes. I saved her from hunters and carried her over to her house, where I found Elijah, ready to win her heart. Although he didn't have a chance today to do so." he looked at his brother "Don't worry, brother. You always have a next time."

Elijah chose to ignore his brother's comment and go up the stairs.

"How's she doing?" asked the blonde, quite curious and concerned.

"Well. Probably now she musts be fucking her friend who was there, so I guess she is enjoying it." replied the hybrid.

"Stop acting like that!" she exclaimed, leaving the brothers confused "Stop being so cynical and pretend you don't want to know! Everyone understands what you want, Klaus! Otherwise, you wouldn't be so upset with Elijah."

Rebekah left the room, heading outside.

"Looks like you pissed Bekah, Nik." commented Kol "If it were you I would sleep with one eye open.

Davina was at the New Orleans cemetery, trying to communicate with the ancestors.

"What do you want me to do?"

"Kill her ... She has to die. She cannot be alive. She has lived too long."

"She really likes you a lot." Hayley said, leaning against the door and watching the original nobleman play with his niece.

She walked the two of them and placed herself next to her lover.

"Where were you? I haven't seen you for a few hours."

"Walking around" lied

The hybrid stared at the original and, without thinking twice, kissed it.

The vampire separated them and put Hayley away.

"Why did you do that, Elijah?" she asked, visibly annoyed.

"Because it's not right, Hayley."

"It's because of her, isn't it?"

Elijah turned away and was silent.

"You have a husband to look after. It is to him that you have to give that love."

He left that room and Freya came in, finding Hayley shocked.

"He stopped loving me because that woman showed up. She's ruining everything."
