15 The training ground, Hendrick and Yuri

We walked for a few minutes and when we arrived the first thing that I noticed was the stench of sweat.

the place literally looks like a gym with the machines and the weights there were also two separate rooms that you could see inside through glasses and a mat and a boxing ring.

Dark Star went straight to the boxing ring where two people were fighting one of them was the guy with a goatee the other was someone from my school, it was Alex from another class. As we got near we could hear them talking while fighting each other.

Alex tried to hit the goatee guy but he didn't hit it, the goatee guy dodge at ease and hit Alex in the face so hard that he was knockout and fell hitting his face in the ground.

Goatee guy: "He is out already? Okay, the first thing that werebeasts got to learn is that your biggest advantage is physical but got to train it, there is no point in having strength enough to tear someone in half if with one punch you got knockout or go berserk." He points at Alex in the ground and continues. "Case in point, now that you saw that you are not ready for combat, go the gym and train your body, your body is not yet adjusted to your news powers."

As the people around dispersed he went to wake up Alex.

After Alex went to his friends the mockery was obvious and the sound of laughs echoed around the training ground. The goatee guy puts his hat once again and approaches us.

Dark Star: "Hendrick this is Inchel, he is from the elf committee. Inchel this is Hendrick Benutzer."

Inchel: "Nice to meet you. You are not from the human clan of fighters Benutzer are you?"

Inchel says stretching his hand for a handshake and Hedrick does the same while responding.

Hendrick: "Nice to meet you too and yes I am."

Inchel turns to Dark Star with suspicion.

Inchel: "This place is full of famous names for a place whose construction started only five years ago."

Dark Star: "The place got five years, but I got twenty and the foundation of this place I have been building my whole life. Now you know why I won't fail. I can't. Cause if I fail I destroy the work of a lifetime."

The tension in the place is skyrocketing but Dark Star shifts the mood of place with mastery.

Dark Star: "Hendrick where is Yuri? Lucy told me he was here too."

Hendrick points to one of the separate rooms.

Hendrick: "Where else? He got down because that was no one selected to him during the assessment and went to train again."

Dark Star then moves toward the glass and when we got near it the sight of what was inside suddenly changes and I can see the flashes and the flames sound. Inside there were a lot of flying glass spheres and the guy with tanned skin and a weird bracelet on his forearm that look like a melted crown was madly throwing fire attacks at them.

Dark Star: "He doing it again..."

Dark Star sighs then press the button near the glass.

Dark Star: "Yuri, stop for a minute and come to meet the guy from the elf committee."

Yuri than stops and walks out of the door.

Dark Star: "Yuri this is Inchel. Inchel this is Yuri."

They then do a handshake.

Inchel: "Yuri Flame the king of ashes, it is a pleasure to meet you."

Yuri is clearly annoyed now, his face twitches and he turns back to return to the room.

Yuri: "Is just Yuri now, I'm no longer a noble." These are his lasts words before going inside and closing the door.

Inchel then turns to Dark Star and start talking.

Inchel: "I thought that you only had famous people but now I think different you got infamous ones too. The king that burned down his own kingdom and his family, I admire your bravery to make him one of your generals, you must be gaining enemies just for his presence here and you go and give him a leadership position, you really like to play with fire."

Dark Star: "Cool pun there, but he is not evil, he just got caught up in the circumstances, when you give too much power to a person and this person doesn't know how to control it is not your fault for losing control but the ones that gave it to you and didn't know how to contain you have blame, too bad that is hard to think this way when the ones who deserve the guilt die because of it."

The mood was getting dark and again Dark Star shifts the mood of place with mastery.

Dark Star: "At least it's not like he got drunk on power and declare war against everyone causing the near destruction of his race, right?"

This looked like a tease to Inchel and the look on his face let us know that it clearly worked.

Inchel: "Yes we lost all the respect earned since the beginning of our race but we did and still are doing the work to regain the respect and making sure that it does not happen again in the future, it is a pity that not everyone got the chance of doing that, what he did can not be repaired."

Even I am sad because of everything that indicates that Yuri has a very dark past.

Dark Star: "He knows that, that is why he didn't rebuild the kingdom and abdicated of his name, status and fortune, the melted crown on his forearm is like a tattoo, an open wound to make sure that he doesn't forget the sins that marked his soul, and that is why he keeps training, to make sure that he never loses control again because he knows the price to be paid in case he does."

The mood was getting really dark and once again Dark Star shifts the mood of place with mastery.

Dark Star: "Let's go meet Sanny."
