7 The first contact with the status

The next one to talk was Caio.

Caio: "So what happened to me, the last thing I remember was getting bitten and that it hurt, what happened next?"

The one who responded was Altair.

Altair: "You transformed into a wolf of 1,50 meters tried to attack everyone toke a beating from Lucy then followed her like a puppy."

He said with a sarcastic tone the last part and the disappointment can be seen in Caio face, then I realize Altair wasn't awakened there, 'what happened to him?'.

Anna: "Altair you wasn't awakened yesterday have you find out what you are?"

Altair: "Yes."

He got up from the table then I realize that something was wrong he was small before but now he has 1,50m and then he said.

Altair: "I am a Satyr, just like Thompson and Jonas from the other class."

As he says we notice that the down part of his body is gone and now there is a down part of a brown goat with black hulls.

Altair: "Thompson said that this form is temporary when I find a hero to follow and teach I will grow alongside with he or she."

Then Angelo asks a question.

Angelo: "Then how was your awakening?"

That was a good question, even I wanna know.

Altair: "According to Thompson, the satyrs are guiders, creatures that have a relationship with fate, we can feel those who have a purpose, that are meant to greatness, those meant to be legends, the ones who have a place in history reserved just to them, he said that then I went to sleep when I woke up I was like this, I freaked out at first but after a short time I could feel what he said, it was a sort of peace like a connection with something bigger, like what I imagine to be the faith, it was weird but I just knew that this is how things are supposed to be."

As he talked I could see in his eyes the peace he talked about it was real to him.

Then it occurred to me that none of us have a cup or plate except for Angelo, that has a cup.

Anna: "Angelo how do you have a cup? where can I get one? and how you got what you are drinking?"

Angelo: "Are you seeing that glass line in the middle of the table? now touch it."

I see the line it looked like glass but with a faint glow and when touched it a semi-translucent board show in front of me it was written.

[register completed.]

Then it changed to.

[welcome Anna what can I do for you?].

Angelo: "So now it's the moment that you ask what you want."

I come out of the daze and ask.

Anna: "I want a cup of water."

The board change again.

[a cup of water ordered.]

Then a few moments later a waiter with a tray comes closer lower the tray and puts a cup of water in front of me.

Waiter: "Enjoy."

As quickly as he came he leaves.

Caio: "Wait! What happened?! she touched talked and now she has it!"

Anna: "What? You didn't saw the board?"

Everyone else on the table murmured "Board?"

Angelo: "Touch it and you will understand."

Everyone else in the table touch it and the surprise was general

Angelo: "See is just like this the board doesn't open to everyone it is in your mind you don't even have to say out loud, every time that you want something touch the glass and ask, if it's related to food they have, but specials will have a cost."

Anna: "Everything related to food? Especial?"

Everyone looked interested in the answers made.

Angelo: "Yeah, my cup isn't filled with water, is a Kopi Luwak coffee, earlier I ate a sandwich called McDonald both are ones of the most expensive in the world and from different regions of the world and I got it for free, as for specials I mean dragon meat, magical drinks and those alike, wanna see? Ask dragon beefsteak and a cup of magical juice."

I immediately got caught by curiosity and touch the glass again and the board shows up again.

[welcome Anna what can I do for you?]

Anna: "I want a dragon beefsteak and a cup of magical juice."

The board change and this time say.

I was shocked, it really has this, really exist magic in this place every remaining doubt is gone, and the price is crystals I wanna see if I can buy it.

Anna: "Yes."

The board change again this time says.

[insufficient fund]

I wasn't surprised but I was curious how did it knew how many funds I have so I asked the only person that it seemed to know.

Anna: "It says insufficient fund, how does it know?"

Angelo already seemed to wait for this question and pointed at my arm, the one with the crystals on it.

Angelo: "The crystals have all your information and when you touched the glass it gave it access to your funds, try to touch it and say status."

Everyone did it almost instantly "status" then I saw the board again but not over the table like when I touched the glass, it was in front of me, at the reach of my hands and it was like this.

I was disappointed.

Anna: "That's all? when you said status I thought that was like those from games, that was gonna say my strength, agility or wisdom but it is just this?"

I as a fan of RPG got really disappointed almost sad but Altair soon raised valid questions.

Altair: "What are you thinking this is? A game? This is the reality. Someone strength, agility or wisdom it can't be measured by normal standards, you can be really knowledgeable about music but know little about anatomy like Angelo how would you measure his knowledge then?"

That was a fair point this is the reality, not a game and I didn't have an answer to that question. Then it was Angelo's time to do his contribution.

Angelo: "He is right it only shows your name, race, patent, fund, and if you are on a mission or injured, wanna see something interesting touch the table and say info."

Everyone does it at the same time "info" then it shows a new board written.

Angelo: "It only shows basic stuff but it can be really useful like if you touch the water it says if is drinkable, the food will say if is poisonous and in some cases is gonna show something like three dots after the basic, that means that you can have more information about it but if you wanna see something really interesting, try to do that with your guide."
