10 The awakenning of the witch and the talk

I sit behind him in an automatic manner and the assessment continues, most of them are just were-people of a sorted kind and everything is just not so amazing now with the exception of the elf.

When is time for Lowena to come at center of the arena, and she doesn't do anything, I remember that she is a witch but I didn't have the time to talk with her, so now I was truly excited, finally I was going to see magic but she just stays there stopped until Dark Star begins to talk.

Dark Star: "She's a witch but she never had contact with magic and doesn't even what affinity she has, Sanny, complete her awakening".

Then the woman with white hair and a blue dress stood up and pointed her hand toward the center of the arena and Lowena's body starts to move in and strange manner like she is drunk.

Sanny: "She is ready you can put the materials near her".

Dark Star waves his hand and the space on the floor near Lowena become full of different kind of materials, now looks like she in the middle of a lot of trash but that only last for a few seconds until Sanny put down her hand.

Lowena fell down and starts to have a convulsion and the materials on the floor starts to shake then vibrate then the sound of explosions is heard almost all of the materials exploded and became dust, some are broken but one is whole without a scratch but with a faint glow and it is a small pile of bones.

Dark Star: "A bone witch, that isn't something you see every day, that one has a lot of potential, Sanny, train her well."

Everybody starts to leave the arena, as Dark Star gets up so do I, then I start to follow him, he doesn't stop and start talking while walking.

Dark Star: "You will follow me unless I ask you to leave, you can ask anything when I not busy, you have full access to the library but can't access the armory, the rest of the castle is free to access, you are not allowed to go outside on any circumstance, before your probation ends you won't be able to really train because right now you must focus on your studies, there are tutors on the library they will give you help to bring you up to speed and use the tutors, right now you are as smart and wise as a two years old baby born here."

Then we reached the elevators but he didn't stop talking, I pay attention to every word

Dark Star: "If I am with someone you do not talk unless you are asked to, don't stare, laugh, scream, sneeze, point or try to smell anyone that I am with, especially if you want to."

Right now we are leaving the elevator and there are a lot of rules I don't know if the part smell is serious but I will pay attention to it anyway and the talk continues.

Dark Star: "You are free to do whatever you want in the morning and night with the exceptions of the rules already said, you will follow me only in the afternoon in the probation time, when you are in my office don't touch anything, in the waiting room don't talk with anyone except the receptionist, did you understood?"

Anna: "Yes."

'Don't touch anything, talk to no one, don't leave the castle, follow him in the afternoon' I was replaying the rules in my mind as he opens the door and starts to walk in.

As soon as he opens the door the first thing the I see is a weird woman sitting behind an office desk, she looks like a fairy but she also looks like a dryad and she doesn't have a nose, she only has two small holes where the nose should be.

I just kept analyzing her trying to understand what she was, when I hear him talking.

Dark Star: "What did I just say about staring?"

He looks briefly at me then keeps walking until the desk still talking.

Dark Star: "Loren? What are doing here today? Wasn't Alec day of work? What is my schedule today?"

She answers as soon as he finishes talking.

Loren: "The elf entourage is coming today, is all hands on deck, Alec went to escort them, they will arrive soon and sir, Marian is here."

She talks like a true secretary even in the tone.

Dark Star: "Good. Marian come with me, Anna you stay in here, try not to screw things up we have guests today."

He pointed to a big couch on the left side of the desk.

From behind me came out a black blur that really scared me, after I calm down I realize that it was a ninja, black clothes, a black mask and a pair of katanas on her back.

He went to the right side where there was a door while talking with her.

Black Star: "So how is Bianca?"

Marian: "She is fine, is that the newbie? she looks weak..."

That was the last thing I heard before the door closes.

Weak, that word bothered me way more than it should, just now I realize that since the day that I was taken from the school I have been constantly reminded how my mind is narrow and naive but been called weak left a bitter taste in my mouth.

I decided to change that and I gonna start using the tools that Black Star gave me, when my shift ends I'm gonna go to the library and use all my spare time to study.

Just as I was lost in my thoughts I feel the floor vibrating and the intensity is increasing, in a few moments I start to hear the sound of steps, I think that the floor is vibrating because there is an army marching toward this place just I start to panic because of the sound the is coming from outside of the door, it stops.

Loren: "And the elf committee arrived."
