9 The assessment

Caio now looks to be in the middle of the dome, his left shoulder where his crystals are starts to shine when the light fades away the process that we saw in the school starts again he bend down forward and fell on the ground and now is scratching all over his body and especially his chest, while screaming and writhing in pain then we heard the sound of something snapping and we see what looks like something crawling under his skin then more snap until his body in a position impossible to a human being when finished tear apart his clothes then start to sweat and grow hair as the sound of snaps intensify and it stops and instead of a person, there is a wolf of 1,50m with brown fur and black nose as he looks around and starts to growl and looking around like is searching for a prey. Then I hear a scream in the audience area that surprised me.

"Okay, who bet on werewolf come to collect your prize."

'what?' they are betting on what we are then another shout comes "Is me, hehehehehe, I told you! Is one werewolf every three harvests, the first round is on me tonight!" the guy is taking crystals instead of money, maybe that's the currency here, when the guy who screamed first shouts again.

"Okay! Next round is now open! Make your bets!"

A lot of people is putting crystals up and shouting, then Dark Star starts talking again.

Dark Star: "Well, that one is obvious, Lucy is all yours, any objection?"

No one next to him said anything so is clear that they agreed, he raises his hand pointing to Caio and the shine on his left shoulder starts again and the same process is now reversed the noises of snaps are faster this time and when is over Caio is knocked out and naked, Lucy makes a signal to someone on the audience and two guys jump on the dome and carry him out.

Dark Star: "Angelo your turn."

Angelo that sits next to me gets up and goes to the dome.

Dark Star: "Remember when I told you that I would take you to a place where can talk freely, you arrived."

Angelo left arm started to shine. then he started to scream like he wasn't even trying to control his power he was just unleashing it, the shockwaves were hitting the barrier and echoing through the dome soon we couldn't see he anymore only dust was floating around and dispersing when a shockwave passed through.

There weren't screams this time but whispers "what is him?" then the booker screamed again "Okay no one won this time, so it's my win, the bets for the next one is available now!" some of them go back to betting while some of them were still chattering about what he was then Dark Star talked.

Dark Star: "He is soundpath and I think he is a fit with Samantha or Yuri so what is your thought?"

Soon the guy with tan skin and red hair started to talk "His power is strong and he is not afraid of using it, he is enjoying it so Samantha is a better choice for him than me."

Dark Star: "So Samantha it is, you can pick him up."

Angelo's arm shined again but we could barely see it because of the dust, soon a person made of water entered the dome and when he waved his hand the dust settles and he drag Angelo out of the dome.

Dark Star: "Anna, you are next."

As he says that I am already on the stairs to go down when I reach the middle of the dome, I realize how big this place is inside, then I look to the seats where Dark Star and the others leaders from this place are, and I am not sure what to do now.

Dark Star: "Right, I forgot that you still can't control it, let me help."

As he says that I start to tremble in fear thinking that he is gonna kill me again but he just points his hand at me then I start to feel hot but not hot like fire, hot like a warm from a hug, soon I start to feel like there is an energy boiling inside of me, I wanna scream and let it flow and when I did the energy started to gush out of me and instead of warm I feel relief, when I look around me the floor near me is on fire.

I could hear the guy handling the gamble screaming: "Yes a phoenix, the money is all mine this round."

The people near Dark Star starts to whisper to each other, then the whisper turns into a normal tone of voice and soon start the yelling, they are arguing some things that I don't understand about not having enough power, control, energy, discipline to handle me the Dark Star scream and silence then.

Dark Star: "ENOUGH! I know that all of you want to train a phoenix and all of you would do a great job in it but only me and Sanny have the experience to train someone with the lineage and from both of us who do you think that can train a soul like that. She is mine."

When he says that they all look at me but there is something different about their eyes like they were looking at me naked and one of them says "Damn she has a changing soul we never stood a chance." Dark Star looks at me and say.

Dark Star: "Anna come up here, from now on you follow me."

He points his hand at me again but this time there isn't warm I just feel a hug, his hands then make a gesture like a pull and I am lifted in the air and put down in front of him.

Dark Star: "Seat behind me and wait, I will talk to you after the sorting finish."

So that is what I did.
