4 My awakening

Arthur: "Barbie, go start the preparations for the transport, De La Vega, you can drop the act now, go with her and check if everything is in place, the castle is about to get crowded."

As I and a lot of people got confused 'there is somebody else in here?' then Yuri get up and pass by Arthur his clothes starts to change like small robots are flowing from it, then it forms a lab coat without sleeves and torn on the down part near the foot, instead of sneakers is a pair of slippers, in the place of pants there are beach shorts, his face is different, his cheeks have a faint glow in something like the marks on a chip, his eyes have a faint glow like it have a futuristic contact lenses, on the arm there are three lines connecting on the down part looking like a chicken foot made out of straight lines, on the line of the elbow it forms a sort cable coming out his vein it wraps around his arm until his hand from there it stretches until the base of his skull touches his coat then the coat form the same chip marks but bigger and from where the cable touches a line stretches and the same way his clothes changed it to form a sword with only one edge in the sheathbehind him.

De La Vega: "Finally, living this double life is exhausting."

He gives a big smile and does little stretching then leave.

Arthur: "Before one you ask, I woke him in the first year, his ability is way too much useful to wait, he has a recently discovered type of power, he is a technopath, which means he can understand the technology and especially somehow understand electronics devices like computers, videogames and cellphones, a famous the was uncovered as the older confirmed person to have owned this power is Leonardo Da Vinci."

Technopath I didn't even know that it was a word but somehow make sense he is that good with electronics but he living a double life and lying to everyone, I thought a knew him, I thought he was my friend but he was lying all the time how can someone do this.

Arthur: "Angelo! come here you are next, by the way, your power was also recently discovered and the way to awake is really fresh, was only published last month, a few people suffered a lot and one died to discover how to awake it, so be grateful you are one of the firsts of your kind."

Angelo got up and approached him.

Angelo: "So which power I have?"

He asks with an excited face.

Arthur: "You are a soundpath, you can alter and use the sound as you wish, you can widen, reduce, isolate, mute, change the direction, alter the flow, amplitude, frequency, tone, height and intensity of any sound. But to do this you need to do something that may or not hurt, depending exclusively on you, to awake you, you need to be exposed to a so high frequency that your mind can't focus on anything but sound, it got to be so high that you can feel it in your soul, so relax and focus on the sound. Pandora brings out the sound boxes and changes my clothes, De La Vega already did in front of them so they won't be surprised."

When he finished talking sort of black water looking like tar came out of his body then surrounded him and expanded a few meters on the floor, when it retracted there were four big sound boxes on the floor but the bigger change was on his clothes, his boots were now like armor with silver details and were going until his knees, his pants were now black with a red t-shirt with a hood, a black overcoat with only the right sleeve, a black glove on his right hand, three silver rings with black stones locked by chains one on the little, one on the right and one on the middle finger of each hand and the same tattoo of De La Vega on the top part of the left arm.

Arthur: "This is larger then I thought it will be, oh! I forgot to reactivate my muscles, that's why."

With those words I got extremely confused 'activate muscles, is that possible? What this means?' then his body that was on shape but not brawny starts to get red and sweat then a sort of mist comes out of his body, when it stops his body is taller, I and 1,70m and he was of my size but now he have 1,80m and his body now is more muscular seems to be fully fit like is carved out. He starts to stretch a little and says.

Arthur: "DAMN!!! I MISS THIS FEELING!!!"

He smiles with such pleasure that I almost envy him. He places the sound boxes pointing to Angelo.

Arthur: "Okay, let's start, ready?"

When he turns on the boxes the sound is deafening and everything around is vibrating like is gonna break at any time. Arthur then put his hand palm face the boxes, the sound stops and some sort of barrier is surround Angelo and the boxes.

Arthur: "Now it is up to him, so we wait. In the meantime Altair your gift can't be awakened here so you will have to wait, and now, Anna come here darling."

I can see the disappointed face of Altair and I start to get nervous and when I got up to come to Arthur he turns his face, I stop and follow his line of sight and he is looking at Angelo.

Arthur: "Ooh, so is this fast, I thought it will take longer."

Inside the barrier, the boxes explode with shockwaves coming from Angelo when it stops Arthur wave his hand and it undoes the barrier then he asks.

Arthur: "So, how you feel?"

Angelo smile even with blood coming out his ears, eyes, nose and mouth then say.

Angelo: "GREAT!!"

It sounded more like a shout, then I see something that looks like a shockwave coming from his mouth when it hit the wall, the wall sink where the shockwave hits and there are small cracks on it. Angelo looks shocked then close and put his hands on top of his mouth.

Arthur: "Wow!! That was powerful, avoid to talk for now, soon I will take you to a place where you can talk freely and learn to control your power."

Then the sound of cracks is heard and Arthur looks in shock to the egg that Layne was.

Arthur: "This day is full of surprises, her acceptance and disposition to it are amazing, she will be extremely powerful in the future."

Then the cracks on the egg got bigger and finally break. What came out is beautiful, look like the small dragons from harry potter, Arthur come closer and put his hand close to the small bronze color dragon.

Arthur: "What a beautiful thing, can't wait to see the amazing things you will do."

I thought he was going to touch it but he stopped near it and the small dragon looks puzzled and curious about the hand then it sniffs the hand and the small dragon looks like liked what she sniffed because she climbed the hand until his shoulders then stroke his face with hers.

Arthur: "How cute."

He says while stroking the dragon with his fingers. The calm and beautiful climate soon came to an end.

Arthur: "Anna I'm sorry for what I'm about to do but your awakening is one of the most painful known."

He then makes a fireball above his right hand like the one he did for egg but this time it was bigger I got scared, too scared, I tried to run but I couldn't before I took the first step I feel the heat on my back.

It was too hot I could feel it melting my clothes, burning my skin and every part of my body, it was too painful when I tried to scream the fire covered my eyes and entered my mouth I couldn't even make a sound, it was so much pain that I couldn't even think then everything got smudgy and then all went black.
