"Hey, Kai Saetung is in your year right?" Mia asked

"Yeah," Travis stopped at the sight of the red signal light "Why?"

"No reason," Mia said but Travis knew she was hiding something

"Did he say something? Did he do something? Did he-" Mia could see the anger rising up in her boyfriend and she quickly put her hand on his and caressed it

"I have never even talked to him directly," Mia smiled "But I am asking for Cora's sake. Kai is a weird kid and how could Wyatt partner her up with him after everything I told him?"

"What did you tell him?" Travis said not aware of their conversation on the day of the seminar

"He surprisingly asked me about how Cora was doing and why she was acting like she is," Mia answered, "He also told me that Kai had shoved her against the wall so if he saw him hurting her why would he make him her partner?"
