6 CHAPTER 6

Wyatt folded his sleeves, his tattoed arm on full show, making him look more dangerous, as the man tied to the chair slowly regained his conscious and looked at Wyatt who was looking pretty intimidating in the dark with a little light shedding on his built figure. The man on the chair is Ethan and he was working under Wyatt but now he had betrayed his gang by leaking important documents to their rival gang. One thing that Wyatt can't stand is liars and traitors. So as a punishment and example to others, Wyatt had him in the basement tied to the chair with various cuts and bruises

"Why don't you just kill me?" Ethan's hoarse voice could be heard

Travis and Wyatt chuckled quietly but audible enough for the man to hear

"What do you think that Boss will make it this easy for you?" Travis smirked "He is just getting started with you,"

As soon as Wyatt was near him, he punched the other right in the jaw and was more than satisfied when he heard a crack. Ethan spat the blood out as he laughed historically

"I did what I had to do," He called out "And your just a big baby who can't accept defeat. Your men are weak, they won't see what's coming,"

Wyatt would have tolerated anything but he couldn't tolerate the man insulting his gang and that didn't stop him from throwing various punches at Ethan. He didn't notice anything until Travis pulled him off of Ethan and calmed him down

"Wyatt!" Travis pulled his friend off "You're going to kill the bastard,"

"He is better off dead," Wyatt lunged for him again but Travis stopped him

"Believe me when I say I want to beat him up as much as you do," Travis glared at the unconscious body "But you're going to kill him and we need him right now,"

"I don't give a fuck," Wyatt hissed in pure anger

"You might not but I do," Travis rolled his eyes "Killing him would start a war right now and we don't have the supplies till now remember?"

Wyatt let out a frustrated sigh and Travis was certain that he was calm now but that was until Wyatt threw another punch smirking when he heard another crack and Travis glared at him

"Now I am calm," Wyatt smirked

Before Travis could say anything a knock was heard and upon Wyatt's permission a girl came in with a tablet in her hand

"Mr Logan there is something I need to show you," She said

"What do you need?" Wyatt's monotone send chills down the girl's spine

"Sir there someone causing trouble at the headquarters," She informed and she handed the tablet to Wyatt

On the screen connected to the CCTV cameras, you could see the clear image of a man around the same age as Wyatt shouting at one of his female employees in the middle of the office. The man in the tablet made Wyatt get his anger back and the fact that he was harassing one of the workers only added more fuel to his anger. Wyatt may be a gang leader, may have to be heartless but he was still a human being and more importantly a man hence, harassing a woman or man was against his morals

"Where is your boss?" Mr Tang's harsh voice came from the tablet "He is been ignoring me for a month now, I want to talk to him right now,"

"That fucking Tang," Travis said looking over Wyatt's shoulder "I am getting the car you stay ready,"

And like that two were making their way to Wyatt's office. On the road, however many drivers had to face a very fiery Wyatt who was driving against speed limits. Soon they pulled up at a tall glass outshining building, seeing their boss, the people on the front desk stood up instantly with respect but Wyatt was too angered to notice. He made his way to the 29th floor and as soon as the doors open, he was the first one out and coincidently on time as he grabbed the hand of Mr Tang before he could hit the womon

"Never. And I mean never harass my employees," Wyatt looked at him dead straight while his hand was tightening around the man's wrist "Do we understand each other?"

Wyatt pushed the man away from him and called security who instantly took the man out since he had no power now. Wyatt looked back around the office

"You all should be more considerate towards your colleagues don't you think?" Wyatt said in an overly calm tone which was only more chilling "You should've defended her once you saw what was happening,"

"Sorry Sir," Multiple voices apologised

"Get back to work," Wyatt shrugged them off

"Sir!" His secretary came out of his office "I was just about to call you. You have a meeting in 20 minutes,"

"I am well aware Lucy thank you," Wyatt said and then he turned to Travis "Don't you have to go?"

"Uh, yeah I am meeting Mia and Cora for taking them shopping in about..." Travis checked the time on his phone smiled sheepishly "Right now...wow Mia will kill me,"

Wyatt chuckled as he bid his friend farewell and went inside his office closing the door behind him and tinting the windows opaque before he fell on the couch with a sigh

"Hey, do you have any idea what he will ask us for the interview?" Cora asked

"Probably normal everyday questions," Mia shrugged "Like the interviews we gave for an internship,"

"Oh yeah...the one that I blew because my panic attack got triggered," Cora rolled her eyes

"It was that rich ass man's fault," Mia says "Who the fuck plays with a gun during an interview,"

"What are you thinking?" Cora asked as she tied the laces of her black heel boots

"Planning Travis's murder," Mia said

"Chill sister," Matt said as he walked in on Mia holding a knife

"It's for the apples dumbass," Mia said gesturing to the cut apples in front of her "We are waiting for Travis,"

"Why not just take Cora's car?" Matt suggested

"Gone for repair remember?" Cora said refreshing her best friend's memory "You're the one who took it to the workshop,"

"Oh..." Matt smiled sheepishly "Forgot. I am still sorry I can't take you guys,"

"It's completely fine," Mia said, "But shouldn't you be on the road right now?"

Matt looked at the clock and cursed under his breath before taking his suitcase and rushing out the door before kissing the girls' foreheads and bidding them farewell for the weekend since he was going to visit his family in California. He gave them the last wave before leaving them to ponder over the thoughts of attempted murder on Travis, that was until Mia's phone rang and the two sighed in relief and taking their purse they went down

"Your lucky I love you," Mia said as she put her seat belt

"Indeed I am," Travis said as he pulled Mia for a short kiss, smirking against her lips

"Okay guys...take it down a notch," Cora patted Travis' shoulder "Do not devour my best friend,"

"Sorry, princess too late for that warning," Travis smirked again and chuckled at the disgusted face Cora was making while hitting his shoulder lightly

"I hate you," Cora said looking out the window instead of her friend

"Can both of you stop fighting?" Mia persuaded increasing the volume of the music

The ride to the mall was full of rap songs and k-pop songs which were favoured by the two girls who singing on top of their voices, ignoring the only boy in the car who was rethinking his life decisions but couldn't help but see the two so happy and carefree, especially Cora. He might not be that close to Cora like Matt or Mia but he still knows Cora since highschool for caring for her was not a surprise. Music however dies down once they parked the car, girls were first to get out and stretched their arms a little from the drive and were followed to the entrance of the mall by Travis who was twirling the keys on his index finger and acting like he was staring in an action movie. His smirk however was cut short once the girls disappeared from beside him and went inside the random shops. Travis sighed heavily as he followed them around

"This is gonna be a long day," Travis shook his head "Definitely should have thought this through,"
