The Tragedy

"Hey, Ahana what's this in your hand. Are you resigning from here?"

"No, I'm not.it's just I'm taking a leave for a week". Ahana uttered in her low voice.

"Why Ahana, "said, Millie

"I'm planning to get married within this week".

Ahana blushed for a second "well Lucas proposed me a week ago for getting married. Actually, we want to get married a week ago, but he went for attending a meeting. So, we have to postpone the marriage and now we finally decided that we will get married within three days.

"OMG OUR MYSTERIOUS GENIUS CONSULTANT FINALLY GOING TO GET MARRIED "uttered Millie in shock.

She was shocked because she can't believe the workaholic ice beauty finally going to get married.

" I just give an application to the director. I'm leaving now Millie

"Wait for Ahana. Are you really going to get married to Lucas"?

Yes as she spoke in full confidence. A faint smile and warmth appear in her heart while thinking about his love.

"Ahana but where is the invitation"

"Why don't u told me earlier. I want to go on shopping as Millie spoke in her lazy childish tone".

"Just a low-key marriage. I won't invite many people not more than ten people." Ahana spoke in her calm voice.

Lucas was from an orphanage and he had no family. On the other hand, Ahana belongs to a wealthy background but after her parents, disappearance.she left china and graduate from the USA and start doing her job from America. In her family only her aunt and grandfather were alive, but she rarely visited them.

"Well, I know how mysterious and the low-key person you are. Good luck Ahana and also sent me the invitation soon. I will wait"

Ahana smile towards her friend. The one and only friend in her office. Although Ahana rarely talks to someone in the office, she gets along well with virtual friends.she has a lot of friends from India and USA.

She bid farewell to her colleagues and friend. she reached her apartment and went to the bathroom for freshening up.

She came from the bathroom and received a text from Lucas. A faint smile appears on her face.

"My love, I'm at the airport and I'm going to hug you within half an hour. I hope when I was not with you.you took care of your health. I know you are workaholic but your health is the most important. I don't want to see any compromise to health and one last thing I love you so much and wait for me ".

After reading the text. she decided to make something special for Lucas.she made his favourite strawberry cake and Chinese food. She took a glance at the clock but it was eleven o clock. she felt uneasiness. He told her that he was coming within half an hour but two hours were already passed. Why is he not here? She felt panicked and her instinct told her something bad is going to happen.

She decided to give a call to Lucas but it was unreachable.

She heard a ringing sound of her phone.she looked at her screen and saw a known number flashed on screen.she said "hello" as she spoke in her calm voice.

"Hello, Am I speaking to Ahana William. I'm speaking of the city hospital. Your boyfriend got into an accident. Can you please come over and fill the family form".

Her mind went blank after hearing the word" Hospital"

She said in trembling voice."y.yes I'm Ahana William".

Ahana spoke again in disbelief," Are you talking about Lucas brown?"

"Yes I'm talking about Lucas brown"

Her phone dropped from her hand. Tears starting flowing from her eyes.she screamed loudly "Lucas"

Without wasting any second. She went to hospital hurriedly.

She went to the receptionist. She looked at the lady who was in the forties.

"Mam, you called a few minutes ago. I'm Lucas girlfriend Ahana William.can you tell me where is he.she tried to suppress her fear among others.

The receptionist looked at her and said," Room 103"

She ran to the second floor of the hospital where room 103 was located. she stood in front of the room. As she was watching from the window the doctors were doing the operation. she prayed silently to all the gods for Lucas safety. she stayed in front of the hospital for more than three hours. Her patience was running out. Every second is like a life and death for her.

The doctor came from the room and looked at the young lady who was in a miserable state.

"Miss I'm sorry "the doctor spoke in his calm voice.

After listening to his words.she felt on the ground. she felt like lightning struck on her. she never thought that this was going to happen to her love.she shook her head in disbelief. she can't accept the fact that her love is gone. Just like her parents her love to disappear from the world.

She stood from the floor and pushed the doctor on the ground.

She went to the ward where she saw her love was laying on the deathbed. she can't accept this tragedy. she screamed loudly," Lucas I know you're playing game come on wake up now.it's too much. I can't accept this kind of joke. If I get angry I won't talk to you".

"Get up Lucas we are going to marry within this week.how can you leave me like this"

She shakes his body but won't get any response.she was waiting for his warm hug and kisses. But there was complete silence from other side.she kissed his face and caressed his hair but there was no action from another party.

After saw this kind of scene even the nurse and doctor feel kind of pity for such a young lady.
