  Nickolas burst into her office at the bank, "Honey, I pitched the idea to the Board of Directors for a joint venture with the Upliftment Charity to provide equity financing for selected properties and the bank registering their lien on the current value. They loved it and I have already contacted the Singh's. Are you up for a drive later?"

  "Hell! No," Karma replied.

  "Heh, why such a strong response? I thought you would have been extremely happy for the Singh's?

  "I am, but there is nothing like my own bed, just incase that car of yours decides not to start. I was so scared the last time. I don't think I slept a wink."

  "Why didn't you not say something, I was in the room beside yours and I slept like a baby. You could have joined me, and I would have slept in a chair and watched you."
