11 Chapter 11- Spineless Jellyfish

Minutes later. Her phone pinged.

She scrolled and looked at the message: Hi Tat. 

It was from him. She hissed her teeth and threw the phone in the glove compartment. 

She drove home in a fury and when she got inside, she flung herself fully dressed on the bed. She drifted off in a dreamless slumber and woke up hours later feeling groggy and disoriented. 

Tatalee looked through the window of her 20 North Avenue apartment and counted the cars as they drove by. It was the only thing to break the boredom of staying home on a workday. Her phone was abuzz with activity and each time she opened the screen she slammed it shut again. He just was not getting the message that he was persona non grata. 

The soft knock on the door brought her back to reality; she shuffled her bunny rabbit slippers clad feet to the door. The view through the peep hole revealed the most beautiful bunch of yellow roses that she had ever seen.
