The Scary Mansion

" Texas get the Med-Kit from the boat, Vyren, help me stop the bleeding, Preak you do something about his legs! Now!", Sam screamed, he looked angry.

I rushed to them and tore the arms of my shirt the tied them around Higson's leg, Vadar pressed hard against his stomach while Sam lifted Higson's head and put it on his knees to help with his breathing.

" The door is locked! What do we do?",Texas said as she walked over to us. She activated a buttons, because I saw another wood plank under her shift into the floor, just as that happened the chandelier fell down.

I was quick enough to jump up and push Texas away, but the impact of the fall shattered the chandelier and the glass pieces hit my back. A wave of pain took over me, I couldn't see...

" Ahh!", I screamed. " Ow, ow, what are you doing?!", I said. " I'm just pulling all the glass out of your back",Texas said, as she pulled another piece out, another wave of pain took over me.

" Ugh", I said while I tried to get up. I was laying face down on the floor. "Easy there, bro. You are still healing, you shouldn't try to get up", Vadar said. " Is Higson okay?", I asked.

" He should be, but Sam... he went out to find something to help Higson's wound in the stomach, Tyler, Enter, Texas and me have been chilling since then, the door wont open, we tried to go to the room where the window was through which we entered, but another button was triggered and that room is full of spikes.", Vadar said.

" So you tried the other windows?", I asked.

" You brave enough to put your life at risk, to trigger another button, maybe get us killed too?", Vadar said.

" You're right.", I said.

We just waited, sitting around Higson, he tried to talk but he said a few words about how lucky he was.

" Where is Sam? He should have searched the whole mansion by now... what if... ", Texas said.

" Oh no!", Vadar exclaimed.

" We need to find him, we have to save him, he must have triggered some button or must he trapped in some room. We need to go", I said.

" What about Higson, Tyler and Enter?", Vadar asked.

" Vadar you stay here, Preak and I will find Sam.", Texas said.

" Okay.", Vyren agreed.

" Alright, let's go.", Texas said.

We walked till the stairs, and to the left ones because Sam also went through here.

" Oh man here we go", I said as we reached the first floor and I saw Vadar through the edge of my eye looking at me intensely.

We took every step with caution, but just as we took a step in front of a giant ancient warrior mannequin, he sprang to life and attacked me.

" Classic horror mansion tricks, tch", I said as I grabbed his sword out of its hand and kicked him in the gut, he had a split-second reaction and he slammed his shield in my shoulder. I was shocked by this and took a step back. He then dropped the shield and took a boxing stance. He had his right hand in front of his face along with his left hand which was a bit lower than the right, he was jumping on his toes, looking ready for a hand-to-hand combat. I also dropped the sword knowing it won't do any good to an armoured enemy.

He threw a punch at me with his left arm, completely stretching it, I barely dodge it and then the second punch with his left hand came, it hit me in the ribs. It hurt so much I almost fell down. I took a hit from a steel hand and was still standing, I was surprised. He then did an uppercut with his right hand, which I dodged by twisting my upper body to his right and then I punched him in the side of his head with my left hand. It felt as if the impact of the punch cracked my bones, but I didn't stop, some kind of adrenaline boost was activated, I punched him in the gut, and maybe because it was its week spot, it shattered. The armoured mannequin was nothing, it was just armour stacked up together.

" You okay?", Texas asked.

" Yeah my ribs are fine, but I think I cracked a few of my finger bones of my left hand.", I said.

" I'm sorry I didn't do anything to help, I just was so afraid...", Texas said.

" Its okay", I said with a smile.

We walked to the room in front of us, no buttons were triggered, but the walls turned color, they were maroon, but now they turned white. I saw behind us, I saw Vyren standing next to Higson's body, with his hands on his hips.

" Vadar? Is that you?", I screamed.

" Huh?" Texas said as she turned around too.

" Preak? How'd you come back down? You were on the first floor right?", Vadar said.

"I don't know myself...", I said as I started walking towards Vadar, when I took a step, I was two steps away, I tried running, but I cam away from Vadar as faster as I ran. " What's going on?!", I scream, Texas grabbed my hand and I stopped, the long hallway that was created, mixed into itself, as if it was a coke batter, being pulled into a black hole.

This shaped into a wall, with Linda's dead body on it, and Sam sitting on his knees next to it, his hands, all bloody, he was crying and looked broken. " Sam... ", I yelped.
