4 Chapter 3 The True Power of What A Demon Could Be

Roki had made a way that he can improve his Ki a faster way by traveling through the region and hoping to see what he can do about the region and see who in charge and how can improve the desperate situation that they are in right now.

"Okay, I must travel the region now."

"But, why is that?"

"Come on Ruby. You need me to help protect the world and how am I suppose to do that in here behind some walls."

"You right but I worried."

"Worried."

Roki wanted to make sure that he doesn't make Ruby and the other worried so much about him and so he asks Apple to come along with him and Ruby to watch over him.

"We do have the technology to watch over me right."

"Yeah, we do have the technology to watch over you but."

"No, but."

Roki hug her and she was confused about what he is doing and he hugs all of the maids as well and Skia called him a weird character.

Roki left and there he wave goodbye for now and Apple was worried about going.

"Apple, there nothing to be afraid of. Okay." Skia said

"But, I don't know about this."

Apple was shaking and Skia holds her hands and she courage her to go forth and conquer.

Apple smile and she waved goodbye and she went to Roki.

"This is the beginning of my journey to save this world from destruction like the other ones."

Roki moves forward and he enters a car and he sat down in the shotgun seat and Apple drove due to Roki lack of learning how to drive.

"Where should we go first master Roki?"

"Apple, You can just call me Roki."

Roki didn't want anybody that he is a high rank among the humans but a new start and he should hide his real name too for safekeeping but he just wants to get the feel of the region.

"We should head west."

"West, but that where the city is at."

"What city is that?"

"Well, it the Bay."

"The Bay?"

"San Francisco."

"Okay. How big it is?"

"Just wait and see."

They travel west to San Francisco and Roki was hoping for a medium side place but when they got there it was something different.

The city was large and the bridge of the golden state bridge that they were driving on to enter into the city and there Roki was planning on where he should go to get some action on the situation.

"We should probably go where the less modern place is at."

"Where that at?"

"The hood."

"Oh, what that place look like?"

They got there and Roki was having trouble figuring out where the beauty in this place is at.

"What do you expect?"

"Something more peaceful."

"Well, long ago there was a conflict between the humans and they didn't like one another way the other humans was looking like and so one side was bully and punish for what they look like."

"That is cruel."

"Well, that is just how humans work and they never say sorry or even try to repay for their sins."

"I see."

Roki couldn't believe that humans would destroy each other and he was hoping that his own race doesn't do that.

"I want to know something."

"No."

"What? you didn't even know what I was going to say."

"Is it about our race and is they as cruel as these humans?"

"Yes."

"Well, I hate to do this to you but that is what the world is."

"You mean cruel."

"Yes."

"Why?"

"Just watch and see and then ask me that questions later."

Roki sees that they treat each other with respect but they also have gangs and part of each gang there are leaders and among these gangs are hidden demons among them and they hate the world government due to their cruelty against them.

"We as people must unite as one. If we don't then they will take us and treat us like animals." One of the gang leaders was saying.

"Yeah, they will burn your homes, and then they put a wall up and they keep us out from them. Leaving us with nothing but scrapes."

"What are they talking about?"

Roki ask a young man that probably around the same age as him and he had a hood on and it was black and he had a mask on as well and he was trying to hide his face due to the cameras always watching but tonight the gang leaders are planning something big.

"They talking about taking over the city tonight."

Eric was his name and he had been tired of the government's miss treatment.

"Why?"

"I can see that you aren't from around here. So let me give the four on one. Okay, there are two regions around here and each region got these types of fights all over the world and some take over but some just improve it without action and violence."

"Okay. So you guys about to attack the city."

"Of course."

"We will charge tonight and we will kill and destroy just like they did us."

"Roki, we better go now," Apple said

"Okay, we better go then."

"Charge!!"

The people charge in and broke down the wall and they had made it through the city and there was an explosion and some buildings were blown up and Roki was trying to understand why.

"Why are they doing this for?"

Roki moves forward and Apple was trying to hold him back and then he broke down and he remembers the day when it happens to their family.

"What does this solve?"

Apple was shaken too.

"Charge!!."

"Kill them!!"

"Make them regret their decision."

There was a large explosion in the city and the police were shooting at the gangs and there they would drop down on the ground.

"We need to charge forward."

"Shot."

They shot again and they had kept dropping.

"Please stop." Roki was on his knees and he was having trouble making sense of all these deaths.

"Where?" Apple was having trouble staying focus and close her eyes and cover her ears.

"No, I got to face this head-on, or else I won't ever find out why my mother was treated like an outcast and I must also protect them too."

Roki had to grab Apple and he grabs her hands and uncovers her ears and he wanted her to look at the destruction that is being played right in front of them.

"I can't go through that again."

"Look, I don't know what happen in the past but I do know that staying in the past won't get you nowhere."

Roki grabs and picks her up and he had to give her a smile.

"It okay dear to be afraid but never run from the fear or else it will consume your fate." A woman appeared in her vision and she has shed a tear and she said, "Okay, let's go."

They move forward and see what they can do to stop this fight.

"Apple, you got any suggestion on how to stop this."

"No."

"Okay, I go on one and I go on another side."

"Guys, I watching what is happening down there right now."

Ruby was watching over them from a crow's eye.

"Okay, I can see that there are police that are blocking the streets making sure that nobody comes through them and they trying to block them in. Roki, you better hurry up."

"Okay."

Roki move faster than he ever runs before and there he had felt his body feeling lighter and lighter and he went into alloy way and he had to jump on the building and he was shocked.

"What the hell was that?"

"That is your devil powers working."

"My devil power."

He looks at his hand and he was wondering why a crow was talking to him.

"Who are you? And why are you talking to me?"

"Well, that is from years of training my widespread language from different worlds."

"What?"

"Yes, young lad. I'm older than you."

"Oh, so you know about me."

"Yes, lad. I all-knowing and all-seeing and also been known to serve you."

"Why?"

"I knew your mother."

"You knew my mother. How?"

"I tell you later after we deal with this."

"Okay."

Roki had the crow hold on his shoulder and told him that he should keep going on a rooftop.

"Why should I keep going on the rooftop?"

"Don't ask questions. Just do it."

"Alright."

He went to the next rooftop and he could see the whole streets of where he is at.

"Over there Roki."

"I see it."

He went into where the streets were being blocked at and he had made his way to where the police were at and there was some pushing the crowd back and then he had seen that some police were killing people on sight.

"Why are they doing that?"

"Listen, lad. There those who use fear to guide their actions and there are some humans that have their humanity inside them."

"I see."

"But also be worried because they don't take kindly to those who their own kind."

"But."

"It nothing that can change that but there can be peace. For a good awhile anyway."

"I made a promise."

"You may make a promise but this is the world and you must accept that first before changing it."

"I think I understand what you saying."

"Just watch and use your powers only when it needed."

"I understand."

Roki watches while the police were killing off the gang and the gang was killing them off as well.

"What should I do?"

Roki was beating himself over what he should do and then he has seen it and he has seen a sight that was most gestures.

"Why are they doing that to her?"

Roki moves forward and he jumps in to save the woman and the woman was half beaten to death and there she was eight months pageant.

"How can anyone call themselves human after doing that to a person?"

The two police officer was afraid of what they were looking at and they seem like they have seen a monster in front of them.

Roki touch his face and there his eyes were purple and he had a black feather wing but the feathers would change color like a rainbow and he was trying to tell them something that they would back off.

"Monster, monster."

Police officers had taken off in a panic and they ran as fast as they can and Roki looks behind him and seen that the woman was dying and he was trying to bring her to life and the crow told him to use his magic.

"You must use your magic."

"What? I got magic."

"Yes. So hurry before they come back."

"Okay."

Roki was wondering how to use his magic.

"How am I suppose to use my magic if I don't know how to use it."

"You can just say one word. Heal."

"Heal."

The woman's body was getting better but the crow told him to pick her up and take her away from this scene quickly.

"Where are we going?"

"We going away from here."

"But."

"You said that you want to see how the world work. This is how the world work."

'How am I suppose to save this world if I can't if save this city."

"You must let go of their pain and greed and you must move forward or else chaos will happen again if you not careful."

"I see, but I don't even know your name."

"It's Limir."

"Limir, nice to finally meet you."

"Likewise."

Roki had gotten pretty far away and Apple came too and Roki wanted to make sure that the woman would be alright and then she woke up.

"Where am I?"

"Can you tell your name?"

She got up.

"Who are you, people?"

"We are just some people that came to the recuse."

'Oh. What happens to me?"

"You were attacked by some bad people and I came in to save you."

"I thought I shown an angel protect me."

"Please laid down."

"Okay."

"We should take her back with us."

"No, we can't. If she finds out what we are. She will not stay with us."

"Please, don't be negative. I will make sure that she doesn't find out."

"How are you going to do that?"

They could hear an explosion and there were loud screams that were shouting, "Victory!!"

"What going on?" the woman asks

"It nothing to be scare of."

"But, my family was down there."

"Who is that?"

"My father, mother, and my boyfriend."

"Don't worry I look for them."

Roki asks Apple to stay and watch over the woman until he gets back and Ruby was watching overhead as well.

"I off."

Roki ran back down the hillside of where they were at and he had to be silent or else they will kill him.

"I have to look for them quick."

Before Roki left to go find the woman's parents and boyfriend. She gave him some description of what they look like.

Her father has a jacket that said bay on it and then her mother has red hair and her boyfriend has a shirt on and the shirt said we are the power.

"I have to find them."

Roki looks in the neighborhood while Limir looks in the streets.

"Roki, I think I found them but you not going to like what they are doing to them."

"What?"

"He jumps to where he was at and he was watching while they were about to hang."

"What are they doing to them?"

"No, don't go yet."

"But why?"

"Use your eyes and not your heart."

Roki see that there were some people that were in the crowd and they seem like they isn't cops all and then it happens and they shot the polices that was going to hang them and they were shooting everybody up and there was an opening and Roki took it and he went to go get them but when he jumps close by.

A gunshot that was close by where he jumps down to and then he looks around the corner and there a machine gun was killing all the gang members and Roki was too late to save them from that tragic fate and so he didn't want to come up empty-handed.

Roki wanted to get to their bodies without being notice and Limir said, "Just use the cloak."

"Okay. Cloak."

He was unseen and was never attack but the sight that he has seen was so gestured that he would probably come back until he becomes stronger and Roki realize that the world wasn't so peaceful as he proclaims and now he must give the bad news to the woman.

"I sorry. I couldn't save them."

The woman was crying and she holds it tight.

"Can we go?"

"Okay,"

They went to the large hill and there they were watching destruction still being folded among them and the woman couldn't take the heartache and so she turn around and face the large depth of a pit and she jump down it.

"Nooo." Roki tries to grab her hand but he was too late and Apple was in shock by the scene.

"Why?" Apple getting on her knees from shock.

"Dammit, why? She could have live with us. So why did you take your own life for."

"Roki, we got to go now."

"No, I can still save her with magic."

"Magic can't heal broken bones," Limir said

"But what the point of having magic if I can't use it to save anyone dammit."

"Roki, stop please."

"Apple, you knew that we could save her. Right."

Roki broke down in tears and there he looks at his hands and he hit the ground in angry.

"Why? Why?"

"Roki, stop please."

Apple touches him and then hug him and she cries too.

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

He was in pain and felt ashamed that he could have done more.
