7 CHAPTER SEVEN
*Chirp* * chirp*, sounded the birds as they sang their early morning song. The trees swayed to the tune of the wind as the dazzling sun made the light blue sky smile. It is a bright Saturday, the day I and my friends meet at Diego's house. I jumped out of bed and into the bathroom to perform my morning rituals....
After I was done, I tied my fluffy purple towel, then sat down in front of my mirror to blow dry my hair, but that's when my moon mark started hurting me again, as my bracelet glowed. I stared at the bracelet while rubbing my wrist. This mark was getting more and more visible and I'm getting more and more confused. Like why was my birth mark glowing, then I thought of asking mum and dad at breakfast. So I got dressed in a simple wear, a tank top and a bum short, Yeah I like to dress freely at home. After I was done, I let down my hair freely then went downstairs...........
Mum just finished making breakfast as she said to me,
"Sweety, make the table, okay, I'm getting our food", she said
"Okie dokie", I replied as I went over to the dinning and started setting it.....After I was done, I went to the freezer, brought out a gallon of milk, then set it on the table as I went to help mum get the food......
"Honey, you're still going to that your friend's house right"? Dad asked
"Yes, I'm still going. I'll be living by 2:00 pm, and don't worry there are girls and his parents are there" I said knowing what he wants to ask
"Okay, pumpkin, behave yourself okay, and you remember your birthday is coming up, why don't you have it at home" asked dad.
"What, not at all dad, it'll be awkward" I said to him scrunching up my face
" Huh, but why Selena" mum asked
" Don't worry mum, when the time comes, we'll think about that, okay" I said to mum trying to divert her questions
"Sigh, Okay pumpkin, I'll be off now" dad said as he left the house and I took the opportunity to go to my room........
Inside my room I was arranging what I'll wear, I brought out a jogger and a cropped turtle neck, with a black jacket. After bringing them out, I decided to take a short nap.........* phone rings*
Urghh, who's interrupting my nap time, I asked no one in particular as I took the ringing phone and answered the call without checking the caller......
*PHONE CONVERSATION*
"Selena where are you? we've been waiting for almost ten minutes and you're not still here, are you okay? did anything happen? GET YOUR ASS RIGHT HERE NOW!!!!!" I heard Allison's voice through the phone and that's when I remembered that we had plans, Oh no.
" Ahahahaha, Ally, I'm so sorry, I slept off" I hurriedly said to her.
" You know what, I don't care, but if you don't come here within 30 min...no 20 minutes, I never talk to you again, and I'll give Zack your address", Allison said.
" Okay, okay, I'm coming, calm down please" I said already running into the shower to freshen up.........
*AT DIEGO'S HOUSE*
" I'm so sorry guys, I slept off" I said guiltily.
" Its okay Purple, we were just starting any ways" Danny said
" Yeah, over napping, been there, there's no need to worry" Mila said
" Its okay, girl. Meet my parents, Mr and Mrs. Macklin" Diego said pointing at a man and a woman I didn't even notice.
" Uhm, hello Mr and Mrs Macklin, I'm Selena woods" I said bowing respectively
" Oh you're welcome, Selena, I love your hair" Mrs Macklin complimented me
" Uh, thanks, Mrs Macklin " I replied.
" You're welcome dear, please make your self at home" She said.
" Welcome Selena" Mr Macklin said.
" Now you kids have fun, but don't thrash my house, Diego your mum and I will be back shortly, okay" Mr Macklin said turning to Diego and then went out of the house with Mrs Macklin.........
We were preparing to watch some movies at Diego's house. I went to get some drinks from the freezer, Diego went to get popcorn, Mila got crackers, Francis got some water, and lastly Danny spread a mat with pillows on it. So after all the arrangements, we were ready. We settled for a horror movie as we turned off the lights. There were lots of screaming and whimpering, as we watched movies until 5 in the evening when every started going back to their various houses...except Diego......
