"You fucking slut! Just because you are a little pretty, you think you can hit on my boyfriend!?"

'Sigh…. Here we go again. I do nothing, and these crazy bitches with their heads stuck up their asses come looking for me. Is it my fault that your boyfriend just happened to look at me while I walked by? Or is it because I am still a normal human, and you're a trinity, a human with a system? Getting off on your superiority just because you can level up and use your abilities.

'It's at times like these that I wish I lived in the past when things were much simpler. But sadly, I was born in this day and age. But really... I knew this bitch had it out for me since I was forced to come to this school. I did not come here by choice, you know!'

The girl sitting on the floor surrounded by three other girls had long blonde hair that flowed down her back. Her clothes were nowhere close to being what could be called new. Although her looks were not bad, the smudges of dirt here and there could not be hidden. Her hair was also not well kept either. The only reason any guys would look at her was due to her slightly revealing clothing. But this was also not her fault and definitely not the style of clothing she would like to wear.

Named Fate at birth, no last name due to being born into a normal human family. Fate's life's fate was nothing short of being great. Her mother did not even know who her father was. And to top it off, her mother was not exactly what you would call sane. All her life, she was either half-starved to death or nearly beaten to death by her mother. Her mother was a heavy drinker and would work multiple jobs. Her anger and frustration, along with her unstable mind, caused her to take all her grievances out on Fate.

Her mother's mental state only got worse as time went on. She never brought any men home since she was always thinking about how to get her hands on a trinity. And that was where Fate played into things. Her mother's plan was simple. Once Fate gained her system when she turned sixteen, she would be able to marry a trinity, and from there, Fate's mother could finally leave the life of poverty.

But even with all these plans her mother made, the treatment Fate received never changed. Even after being worked to the bone as a slave and not even able to eat her fill, Fate's mom would still take out all her frustrations on Fate.

Then the day she turned sixteen arrived, and this was the day Fate's mom had waited for for so long. And to her dismay, the system she had hoped her daughter would receive never came. She had also completely lost it that day: "Stupid little bitch! What the fuck did I raise you for!? You can't even do anything right!"

That day, Fate was beaten so hard she felt as if she was going to die. To Fate, life was something she strived to hold on to, hoping for the day she could finally leave this house, break free from her abusive mother, and one day escape through one of the portals to the many colonized planets.

Fate had a different outlook on life compared to most kids in her situation. When beaten as much as she was, most would rather just end it all and rid themselves of the pain. But Fate saw the light at the end of the tunnel. She was pushing for the day she turned eighteen and could finally free herself from the clutches of her mother. A new world awaited her beyond the portals, and all she had to do was wait two more years.

Sadly things were not going to end as such for Fate. Fate had no idea how her mother did it, but she somehow got her into the school for trinities. Humans who gained their system at sixteen were all made to go into a special school until they graduated at twenty years old. Only then would they be given a test to see where they belonged in society. Of course, this also did not rule out those of the higher class getting special treatment either.

But with that said, Fate was now forced to enter this school due to something her mother had done. What strings she pulled or what she had to do, Fate did not know, nor did she want to know. But because she was now going to this school that was meant for trinities only, her mother tossed out all her clothes and replaced them with clothes that were much more revealing.

So now she was forced to deal with the stares of all those around her from the time she left for school until the time she finally arrived home. All due to the clothes her mother made her wear. Her mother's new plan was to have Fate seduce, have sex, and get pregnant with one of the trinity's babies.

This plan was not something Fate wanted any part of. Although she did not look even the slightest bit shy when wearing skimpy clothing, she was indeed very shy about it on the inside. Luckily she had one set of clothes that were not too revealing, which she ended up wearing every day after changing in the women's bathroom at the pod station. To even things out and keep people away, she had never washed the clothes and would always mess up her hair, smudge dirt on her face, and other exposed parts of her skin.

This little trick seemed to work for the most part. But her shirt, which was cut partly down the middle in the chest area and tied together with a bit of her own workmanship, would still turn a few heads to get a glimpse of her cleavage, which has brought her to her current state of things.

"Slut, what is that look for!?" A girl with blue hair down to her shoulders raised her hand. A ball of water began to form out of thin air swirling around until it was the size of a basketball.

Fate stared at the girl, her eyes unwavering. She cared not for the ball of water the girl was forming. She had already been here for a month, and this was not the first time seeing such a thing. In fact, scenarios like this where people bullied others were normal in this school which was aptly named Trinity Academy. A place where system users go to level up and learn how to fight using their abilities and Fate the only normal human in the school without a system.

To the girl's question, Fate's lips curled up into a smile. "Maybe, if you were not so ugly, your boyfriend wouldn't look at a failure like me."

Fate knew she was provoking the girl, but she was also not one to stand back from a fight. Since they wished to fight with her, then so be it. System, abilities, or not they all had just received their systems and were all still level one. Fate had no reason to care about a ball of water that could not do much at level one besides filling a glass of water.

One thing she had to thank her mother for was all the books on the trinity system that she had bought her. She had crammed day and night learning about the levels. The only difference between a normal human and a level one was that they could use some basic abilities based on their affinity.

In short, compared to Fate, who had lived a life of poverty growing up having to fight for things. These girls were nothing but baby chicks waiting to be eaten by the large snake in front of them. There were two things Fate was good at. The first thing was pissing people off.

"You! Fuck! I will kill you!" The girl with blue hair screamed.

The girl with blue hair went to slam the ball of water into Fate's face, but before she could, Fate had already moved. She shot up from her kneeling position, dodged to the side, and used her right arm to grab the girl's arm and pulled on it hard, causing the girl to fall forward, all while bringing her knee up as hard as she could right into the girl's gut.

"Before you begin talking shit and flaunting these so-called abilities, make sure you know how to defend yourself first." Fate sneered and spat on the girl. The other thing Fate was good at, was fighting.

The two other girls were just standing there, confused as to what was going on. It was not until the blue-haired girl screamed out to beat Fate that they finally took action.
