25 An asset
Later that afternoon she woke up, walked down the stairs and went to the dining hall to get something to eat, there she saw everyone was discussing something.
The queen saw her "Octavia you should not be walking" she said as she pulled out a chair and had her sit. The prince just stood there offering no help at all, tears came to her eyes not because of him but because of the black wolf.
The queen then gave the girl some juice and a bowl of soup to eat and drink. When she finished eating, they all sat down by the table staring at her.
"Is everything okay?" she asked,
"Yeah everything is fine" Liam responded,
"What exactly happened?" the queen asked,
"I do not remember clearly" she replied,
"Something is really off about the way it attacked you" the king said,
"Ah i see, well i was just riding and he was probably there, if i remember i will let you know" she responded as she went back to her room.
The prince noticed that she was lying so he went after her in anger, while they were walking to there room, he called out to her but she ignored him and when they entered their room, he grabbed on to her arms and her waist pushing her against the wall.
"You know i really do not want to hurt you due to your current state but it seems like you are not going to listen to me" he said as he squeezed her,
"Tears came rolling down her pale cheek "you are hurting me, please let go" she replied,
"Why should i do that?" he asked,
"Hmm i guess i do not have a reason why, you are not that different from the black wolf" she said.
"Well i cannot deny that we have a few things in common sweetheart" he replied as he kept squeezing her,
"Ouch" she said as she grabbed on to his hands, pushing it away.
"Let me tell you something, i changed our plans, you and i will be getting married so prepare to be in actual hell" he said,
The girl was shocked upon hearing that, before she could talk to hi he walked out of the room, she started to cry helplessly. The girl got up and looked at herself in the mirror, her eyes started to glow red and blue at the same time, she did not understand what was happening to her and decided to send for Liam.
After her message he came in the room and she told him what is happening to her and what the prince said to her.
"You cannot let him push you around like that" Liam said,
"I cannot do anything, i made a certain deal with him but i am not ready to marry him" she replied, after remembering the warning he gave her if she ever told anyone the truth,
"Octavia, i will train you to use your powers and i will research about what the hell is going on with your body for i never heard or saw this happen to anyone before" he said,
"Okay well when you are ready to begin my training just tell me" she replied,
"Okay well i will see you later, do not go horse riding, try getting some rest, it will help your body" he said,
"Thank you Liam" she responded,
"You are most welcome bye" he said as he left .
In the night when the prince finished his work, he went and brought Octavia to the dining table to eat, there the doctor checked up on her and so did the prince sister, she came personally, the queen hugged Octavia and also congratulate Octavia and Cassius on becoming a couple, the girl wanted to tell her the truth but the prince gave her a killer look.
She the stayed quiet and sat near him, he held on to her hands to show everyone that they are serious and they fell for it, little did they know while he was holding her hand he was squeezing them, the girl was in pain but endured it.
She looked at him and he saw a little tear in her eyes, he then released her hand, when Liam looked at her he saw how red her hand was, he got angry and looked at the prince as if he wanted to kill him, Octavia saw the way Liam looked at him,
"Liam sit down and have dinner with us" she said,
"Uh.. that would be inappropriate, i am just a soldier and your guard" he replied as he realized that she saw him,
"Nonsense, that does not matter, sit down" the king said.
The boy then sat down near Octavia and took his food, while everyone was eating, the prince looked at the guy as if he was a threat, he felt the urge to kill, he grabbed on to Octavia's waist, passing his hands on her body which made her feel uncomfortable, she grabbed onto his hands and looked at him,
"Please stop it, you cannot just invade someone privacy" she whispered to him,
"Oh yeah, you cannot tell me what to do because i own you sweetheart, you are now my property" he replied with a wicked smirk.
She knew deep down that she cannot fight him with this so she released his hands, after she did that he removed it from her body, when they finished eating, the girl walked out of the castle and went into the garden, looking at the stars in the dark beautiful night sky.
She was confused and weak, the poor girl felt to the floor and started to cry, she wanted to scream due to the pain and what she have to put up with because of the prince. She fell unconscious on the garden floor, the prince did not even think to look or the girl so she was out there up until midnight in the cold, while the prince was sleeping peacefully.
A little few minutes pass midnight, he woke up and decided to go into the balcony, from there you can see the garden, when he switched on the lights, he saw her, the guy then decided to check on her, he thought she was asleep when he arrived in the garden but then realized that she was not asleep.
Feeling a little guilty he lifted her in his arms and carried her to the room, there he placed her on the bed and covered her with his blanket.
"Damn it, if anything happens to you, my sister will not forgive me not like i care, even if you die but i cannot let that happen for right now you are an asset that i have to use" he said to himself as he went back to bed.
