"Another product out of the trash", Jack said when there were no more customers. This was the first phrase he always says, in which Laura have already gotten used to. He started to get some lunch because he was hungry but was interrupted by Laura.

Laura replied, "Can we see the adventures and antics of our customers? Please?".

This was something that Laura will always say but something that Jack will never retort. Jack sighed and with a clap of his hand, a book appeared. The book had bold letters in the cover, saying Karma. Laura cheered and waited with anticipation for she wanted to see the 'adventures' of their customers.

"You really do enjoy this, huh.", Jack said as he made preparations for the video feed. He really couldn't understand and will never understand her enthusiasm on why she wanted to spy her customer's antics after buying. It was her idea after she learned about the Book of Karma.

Laura beamed a smile and didn't reply for she never told her the reason why she does this or enjoy it. Only the traces of a little sadism was there. They both went behind the store to reveal a small cinema. Laura took a seat while Jack went for the hologram screen to do preparations.

"Well, I do know that this book is convenient. I mean having the knowledge of the whole entire multiverse? Everyone will want to have it.", Jack chattered while making preparations. He sighed, "Too bad you make me do this. You know it is an invasion of privacy, right? I will never know your reasons.".

Laura smirked and said, "And when did they applied to us? Plus, you don't need to know yet you do so.".

Flabbergasted and accepting defeat, Jack finished setting up the screen and started connecting it with the Book of Karma. With the latest events happening to their latest customers on the book, it will transmit the real-time feed to the screen. Jack didn't like to watch what happens to other customers when they use their trash because it's their business and it is also troublesome to deal with. Laura, on the other hand, enjoy watching their troubles due to the little sadism she possesses and Jack knew he will never win an argument against her.

"I win as always", Laura cheered.

With the real-time video beginning, Jack muttered, "Scary how your personalities are different when dealing with customers and when it is just me."

[Beginning Real-Time Feed...]

The screen showed a classroom with Sam Riley sitting on his desk, which is near the window on the back. He was the epitome of average. Everything he does was average, from grades to sports to looks to everything. Currently, in the Public School 38, he was sitting at his desk looking at the new book he bought. He didn't know when he had this book but somehow, he knew what it does. He wasn't using it because he was extremely skeptical, even though there was a strong persuasive force in his mind that was convincing him that everything is real.

So when class started, he was extremely shocked when it did work on how it was intended. Thanks to the book and his average motivation, he quickly rose in grades at school and graduated as valedictorian. He also becomes one of the most influential politicians in New York and almost becoming president. Due to him constantly learning thanks to the book ability to learn the subject he specifically needs, everything was smooth sailing until his demise.

His demise started when the book was later discovered by a wizard and Sam was later assassinated due to the wizard's greed. That wizard later rose to power but the book was forever lost after the consecutive battle for it.

The feed ended and the book came back to Jack in which he later made it disappear. Laura, having her satisfaction craving filled, hummed a small song.

Laura asked Jack, "I always enjoyed your book. I still don't understand it though.".

Jack didn't bother explaining to her after the million times he did but what he did explain was how the store was something he specially made in which time is the same here but can always fast forward the outside world. That's why there is a real-time feed.

Jack just finished explaining to Laura and said, "You know what? Since the store is closed anyway and we only serve a real customer per day, let's leave.".

Before he could though, Laura asked, "Where did the Book of Learning go through?"

"Here in the store", Jack replied.

"Didn't you say this store was to throw away trash", she questioned.

"I rather lend them. I also take those words back although I do not know when I said that and I like to hoard things may I say.", he replied in his tired voice. Jack made the Book of Learning appear in his hand.

"I see... So can I ask why you lend them?", she asks.

"Passing time and you know Laura.", he said.

"Yes?"

"Just let me do the chant, alright?", he asked, "I rather just end everything here and move on. You have too much energy and after this, I want some food."

"But isn't that why you chose me and picked me from the streets and don't worry. I shall start preparing our dinner.", Laura said and left the store's kitchen.

Jack flashed a small smile on the memory after Laura left but later started preparing the magic spell. He began chanting incomprehensible words and during such chant, a large and shining circle appear on the whole store. It shined for a few moments before disappearing and only leaving a closed sign. The real shock here is that nobody noticed such huge event and in the middle of a busy street.

On that day when the store disappears, all magic users in the world investigated the huge magic usage but could not discover the reason. On the day they sold the Book of Learning and left, it was the year 2037.
