The First

I've lived a long but very unfulfilled life. I have zero kids to pass an inheritance down to, no wife, and zero family around at all. It's not like I lived a very sad life, but living alone in a large home and growing old made my life relatively boring. Money hasn't been a big problem for me as I ran my own business, and moreover than that I spent most of my time at home reading novels, books, and manga. It may be a boring life but it was a peaceful one. Sadly though, it ended sooner than I would have hoped. I didn't die of any unnatural causes but I died at the age of 50 because people in my family didn't even live past the age of 40 normally. I was the last of my family and the one to live the longest even if it wasn't that long, or so I thought. Next thing I knew I was in a large white room sitting in front of a majestic red and blonde haired woman with blue eyes wearing a black robe that didn't go with the room at all.

'Would this be what they would call life after death?' [MC]

"That would be a correct guess, but allow me to go into more details about that." The lady spoke in a sweet voice that was music to my ears but I remained calm, decided to listen, and stay quiet.

"At this moment you are in between life and death like a middle ground of sorts. I watched your life, and you looked like you could use more excitement, because nothing exciting happened at all throughout your entire life. Also I guess you could call me a goddess." That last bit was a bit harsh, but sadly I can't say anything to refute that fact because it was true.

"So that being the case I have good news for you, I will have you reborn in another world that centers around fantasy. I figured I didn't need to go into much detail because I read your mind before this and it seems like you read enough fantasy novels to figure out where I'm going with this. In addition this world is like a game world where stats exist. For example: HP and MP. That being the case, I will send you there with four free skills, three of which I will choose for you and the last one you will think of and make yourself. Keep in mind the more powerful the skill the more restrictions it will have unless said skill is Max level. Most skills have a Max level of 10 whereas some don't have levels. There are also skills that can transcend pass level 10 and become ascended skills when someone fulfills certain conditions. Also, even though you lived a boring life, those around you and those you influenced have lived or are currently living a very happy life so you will be given a bonus to your starting stats and will be born in a body with the physical age of around 18. Also one more important fact to know while you think of what that skill you're gonna make up will be, you won't be reincarnated as a human, and won't be able to age either." [The Goddess]

"Wait, then what race will I be?" [MC]

"Sadly not even I know, or rather it may be better to say the race you will be doesn't even have a name. However what I can tell you is that you will have the physical appearance of a human." [Mysterious goddess]

"So what you're saying is that I have to figure out what it is myself?"

"Yes that would be the case." (Mysterious goddess)

"If that's it then it's fine I guess, it's not like I really care anyway unless I was reincarnated as a demon and had a literal target on my back but thankfully that won't be the case."

"Good now that that is taken care of, please do decide on what skill you would like to have." (Mysterious goddess)

There are probably a million and one skills that many people would choose like massive area magic or weapon mastery, but I already knew what I would want the moment she said I could make a skill.

"I already know what skill I want to make but is it ok for me to set the base restrictions myself then you or whatever governs skills would do the rest?"

"Normally that wouldn't be possible but based on who you are I think it would be fine since you are fond of challenges." (Mysterious goddess)

"Alright thank you for that. I would like a skill called Pocket Dimension. The big thing about this skill is it would be a literal dimension that only I, and anybody grant access to would be able to enter. I would be able alter the dimension to a limited degree based on what I wanted to put in and the level of the skill. One last thing would be that it would allow me to create subordinates from the ground up, this includes their race, sex, body shape, etc. I would only be able to make a certain amount of subordinates a week based on the level. Starting at level 1, I think it would be one subordinate, increasing based on whatever the system's choice is. I would also be able to make weapons, armor, and accessories, but only if I encountered said weapon myself at some point, and it would cost magic to replicate at the early levels. I also can't replicate any weapons or armor made of the rarest metals. When It comes to the subordinates I can create them with one inherent skill that I have knowledge of, or have learned but it can only be the most basic form. I think that sums it up, oh and one more thing, when I enter the pocket dimension a separate thing would be used to access the options for the dimension."

I managed to make the Goddess' eyes go wide for a bit before she calmed down and said. "Ok I can't tell whether you're trying to make my job easier or harder but everything you asked for was well within reason according to the system of the world. Also all of the subordinates you create will not physically age past the age of 20, and when you create them they will be around 18. So the next step would be to tell you about your other skills. Do me a favor and say the word 'status'." I did as she told me and a screen popped up in front of me.
