Chapter One: Agni / Chapter Two: Alberto

The forest was beautiful in the winter snow, tall bare trees with little bark left. The sun was gleaming with such open space now that no leaf's can stop its rays from spreading . The little bits of nature that was able to thrive in the winter cold truly showed its color as we all walked to the edge of the northern borders of Aulvan. We are in a war with the other three side, so this journey put all of my party in a state of worry. Lucca was the most uneasy in our group and you would think for a tank, she would have a greater mind set than all of us here. Donovan was always keeping her in check when it came to her emotions, a good trait to have when being an assassin type fighter. Ewan, the oldest in our group, was our magic caster and a very powerful one as well. He's not the talkative type unless he's has to be or when he is using his magic. Conner is Ewan's son and a strong archer, his close combat was basic but thanks to his special bow, his strength is greater than Lucca's. Finally there's Alberto, my right hand and apprentice in this war that dates back centuries before any of them.

"Miss Agni, the mountain entrance is almost in sight. With your word, I can scout the inside far enough to check on the sealing crystals." Donovan asked as I gave him a quick nod. This is the oldest and grandest mountain in Aulvan, no one remembers the name but many have tried to find all of its secrets. That include the sealing crystals we are currently searching for. "These crystals are said to be able to create and disperse any and all types of sealing magic, isn't that correct lady Agni?" Ewan ask while reading the spell book I had bought for him, he has always been sharp when it comes to any details I give them about our missions. Using magic of my own, I call a small gust of wind strong enough to close his book. "No reading and walking Ewan but yes, the crystals break and create an type of seal, as long as you know their properties." "How do you already know so much about the crystals Agni, the info on them barely went public in our city a month ago. Most people only know that they exists, but you already know what they do and where they are." Lucca forced her way into the conversation, finally calmed down and with a big smile from ear to ear. While crossing my arms, pointing my nose to the sky and a smile just as big, letting my superiority be known to them. "I have my ways of getting info from people who like to keep it to themselves". "So you slept with them?" Lucca hid behind Alberto while saying this as if it'll stop me.

Before I could do anything, Ewan used his magic to administer his way of punishment on her. "Judgment of Earth's Child" he whispered as roots came from underground and smacked her in both legs while a tree branch smacked her in the forehead. "Sometimes it's better to not listen to the voices in your head, no matter how thick it is". She didn't feel the pain in her legs, do to all the muscle, so she rubbered her head while trying to grab onto Ewan. While using bits of his magic to evade Lucca, Alberto and Connor walked closer to me, laughing at them until a scream was heard from the base of the mountain. "Donovan" Lucca and Ewan whispered, Lucca's faced looked far more worried than her voice lead on. In sync, we all moved into a sprint towards the mountains base and saw a cave entrance. The outside put us all to a halt as there was blood and signs of a quick battle that looked to lead deep into the cave. My heart was beating like a drum and my mind was already trying to figure if this fight involved Donovan or not until Connor knelt down next to a small pool of blood. Moving his arm to pick something and his hand slightly shaking as he showed us a dagger half broken, "It's Donovan's".

Chapter Two: Alberto

So much blood and rubble laid Infront of us, how did we not hear any of this. We had to find Donovan, we had to be faster. My mind ran faster then I could process the situation, at the same time Ewan and Master Agni muttered spells and casted them onto each of us. "Move" she said as she ran straight into the cave, each of us followed right behind, moving faster than before. Both Master Agni and Ewan casted multiple spells on us, including speed, strength and greater eye sight to help navigate the pitch black cave. Nothing, I see nothing, only stones and boulders lay in front each step we take and the trail of blood we have been following for what feels like hours, is starting to fade away into the ground. "We're close" Master Agni said, her voice was different, no matter the situation she has always kept a level head. Something has changed in her, I wanted to ask her, until a dim light appeared and we all slowed down to soft walking as to not alert anyone of our entrance.

The closer we got, the brighter the light became until we stopped at a high ledge, over looking a group of four beings next to a fire and a post with Donovan tied to it. Only one of the being's next to the fire was injured and another treated it's wounds while they all talked in a group, but Donovan was bleeding out, covered in bruises and missing a leg. "I'll kill all of you" Lucca screamed while holding her weapons in a tight grip as if she was bearing her fangs like a wild beast, "Damnit Lucca" Master Agni quickly shouted as she disappeared. There was no sound, no gust of wind, no cast of any type of magic and her presence completely vanished and returned behind us laying Donovan on the ground. "I wanted to leave without having to fight them, now I have no choice", Standing back at the ledge, she stood there staring at them as they all stood and stared back at her, letting every ounce of their aura spew like a river of magma.

Master Agni dropped down to all fours while staying as close as she could to the ledge, she started to look more like the monsters of ancient time at the start of this war. "On my word, grab Donovan and run back to the entrance". "Master Agni we stand a better-" "Run", with deep malice in her voice and even faster speed than before, she disappeared before I could finish my sentence and on her word Lucca grabbed Donovan while we all ran as fast as our bodies permitted back to the entrance. Deep treacherous roars and painful siren like screams sounded behind us, Master Agni, her power spiked higher then I have ever seen. I knew her aura was stronger than ours, but what I felt just now, what all of us felt as she dove head first into those four beings that seemed to be far stronger then us, her power grew to be on par with the Toy Maker.

Just as before, we ran for what felt like hours and no matter how far we got, the fight never silenced and the amount of magic that filled the air only grew. It was far to dense to what Master Agni has let off before, "Her normal aura image has changed, it has always been a bright blue color in the shape of a tall Fairy and though it has shown great strength many times before, the amount of power she emits now, looks to be endless." Ewan was right, her aura image has changed. Instead of a beautiful fairy like woman I normally saw, there's now two grand beings, even larger than the mountain we are trying to escape, bowing down to a being with eyes deeper than any abyss, a tail with a thick base that look like a dragons, horns at the top of its head with a crown of light that emitted royalty and holy magic in every sense of the words. I did not recognize Master Agni no matter how much I looked at her aura.

"We are at the entrance but a stone door appeared out of no where", Lucca shouted with more fear and worry in her voice as Ewan quickly studied it. "The only magic I can sense is a sealing spell", his eyes widened in shock and some of his hair started to stand as he had a hard time saying the spell that was used. "It's a blood seal, my magic isn't strong enough to break this and even if i could, we won't be able to open this door." He was right, even with the seal gone, it doesn't look like any of us are strong enough to lift this door. "Father you said it was a sealing spell correct, I am the fastest runner right now, if you use half of your magic to give me the gods speed, I can go grab the crystal and make it back in just a few minutes." "Are you not listening, grabbing the crystal will make no difference Conner, with the seal gone we still won't be able to lift the door." Ewan and Conner went back and forth for a few seconds as Conner came up with the idea to use the rest of Ewan's magic to strengthen Lucca so she can let us out of the mountain. I didn't know what to do or say, Masters aura was growing weak the longer she held those beings off, Lucca wasn't listening to anyone, all her attention was set on stopping Donovan from bleeding any further until a weak and broken voice was heard. "I have the crystals, break the fucking seal already and get me out of this mountain". All looked over at Donovan raising his open palm to reveal a crystal glowing white and then black, switching between colors. Quickly and carefully Conner grabbed the crystal and gave it to Ewan. "Hurry Father, break the seal and use the rest of your magic to strengthen Lucca". Just as the word left his mouth, the cave started to fall apart, "We don't have allot of time left old man, do it now". Lucca shouted as I moved close to Donovan and carried him, prepared to exit. Master was growing weak with each second that went by, her aura that seemed to be endless just moments ago, started to dwindle as their fight grew more and more destructive.

Ewan quickly started casting a breaking spell on the door while having the crystal in hand, Failing the first time as he stammered back a few feet. "Damnit", he muttered as he tried again. "Ah dammit", he tried again and failed like before, this time shouting at the air while coughing up blood "God Dammit". Falling to the floor as Conner rushing next to him, "If I try again I won't have enough magic to strengthen you Lucca, I'm sorry". We all stood there, not knowing what to do anymore, when The mountain became still and the fighting fell silent. Looking at where the fight began, we moved back, closer to the entrance. A very powerful aura starting running at us with great speed, one of those being was finally in sight after running for what took use hours, in just a few seconds. Only fifty yards in front us was an injured demon like monster prepared to kill us with all of it power until someone came behind it, jumping on its back.

With a ferocious wide bite to the right side of its neck and sharp talon like nail coming out of its chest, the being was ripped in half and fell to the floor with that monster on top of it. My heart sank as it stared at us, a gigantic black and red demon with four dragon like tails peering out of its lower back and then with all of its weight, it jumped in-between us, aiming for the stone door. "Move" it shouted, a deep demonic and feminine voice came out as it slammed its palm into the door. It had broken the blood seal that was placed on it and quickly forced both its hands under the stone door, trying with all of its strength to lift it. Another voice was heard from behind us, this one was lighter but the hate and anger flowed through the cave "You can't leave us". Conner held onto Ewan, Lucca carried Donovan and I stood there shaking as the three other beings ran for us. The demon trying to lift open the door, finally let out a grunt and deep roar. "Come on" it yelled as two of its tails slipped under the door as well and the other two slammed into the floor for greater force. The cave became brighter, sunlight started to peer through and the door was quickly starting to open as the three beings got closer. The roar from the demon grew louder as it yelled at us, "Get out" it yelled as the two tails in the ground wrapped around and threw us out of the cave, the demon following behind and slamming the stone door shut tighter than it was before. Lucca held Donovan close as all of us fell to the ground and a gust of wind passed by over head.

"Is everyone alright", I quickly got to my feet and checked on Donovan and the others, "Ewan quickly use the suns energy to cast a healing spell on him". Just as I had finished the sentence, Ewan was already started a mid ranged spell to heal all of us. Lucca was patting my shoulder as I was focused on Donovan, Conner started to do the same and moved me head back to the caves entrance. The demon quickly fell, its back against the stone door as it sat there bleeding heavily. Using its own blood, it started to cast something on the door, it was another blood seal. Donovan's wounds were finally closed and we all stood there staring at the demon until it finished its casting, "Why did you save us", a demanding voice came out of me and almost immediately it went away. "I didn't want the mission to end this way, I didn't want you to find out", its voice went from a low demonic growl, to a broken feminine cry. My eyes began to tear up as its body slowly changed, "Master Agni".
