Now was the time she decided to look up, her mouth was full of food which she was chewing in a very unladylike manner.

"finish your food first dumbass" I seethed in anger. I knew if she kept going like this then it will not take too long for King to explode.

My body was tensed and my heart was beating loudly in my ears. It took every ounce of braveness in me to not tremble under King's heated gaze. Today might be my last day on this Earth and if that happens then it would be all because of this foolish girl. I balled my hands in a fist to not let the anger took over my conscience.

But what took me by surprise was the fact that King was keeping his cool for this long. Maybe it was because she was a girl but as far as I remember, last time he dealt with a woman it didn't end well for her. I cringed inwardly at the memory.
