After the appearance of the Focus Tower, something changed in the world, wild magic and monsters run amok, interrupting the idyllic life many had known, but it is what follows that surprised the world, word of life after death spread by those who climbed the towers. For whenever a person dies, their soul is transported to the entrance of the Focus Tower. Everyone is told the same thing by the overlooking reapers if they can reach the top, their lives will be renewed and they can live again.
