11 The Truth

The group had finally cleared the whole Lychon valley, all thanks to Dye (well, she knew almost everything about the world.)

"So that's the last of the Kutthulus…," Ynoir mumbled as he skinned a Kutthulu. Kutthulus looked a little like deers from Earth, making Dye a little homesick at first.

"Why are we told to clear Lychon valley?" The three of them had reached level 8, very slowly. Dye was now a full fledged Cultivator, the second stage of pendant-Elementalist class. She had a lot of spells in her disposal. However, she still didn't have access to some of the spells, due to her having not fused with the needed elements yet.

"I don't really know, but it might have something to do with why the Elementalist guild's higher ups fled in the first place," Dye replied,"that hidden monster...that has been lurking around recently..."

Dye compiled all the information she still remembered about the hidden BOSS.

"I got all this information myself through my own means, but I'm not sure if I can tell you guys...how I got it...," Dye mumbled.

Ynoir raised an eyebrow. He knew that Dye was anything but normal. Her exceptional knowledge about Hyouka (some of which he didn't even know) and her talents...

Who would actually believe she was 'normal'.

"Hm...? Do you receive it through...indecent means?"

Dye choked on her spit. Whatever 'indecent means' actually meant...it would always be indecent. Dye couldn't even understand what was going in Lin Mao's head. She knew Lin Mao was an airhead...but...this was too much.

She started to think that Mrs. Lin's husband was the mastermind behind this unfilial son. All these times, she had never heard from ither of them once...what sort of person was Mr. Lin.

"It's not from 'indecent things' as you thought it was!" Dye's cheeks reddened, "whatever 'indecent' actually meant."

"Thank goodness, I thought you got it from a deal with some shady people...," Lin Mao grinned.

Now both Ynoir and Dye wanted to bang their head against a wall. Lin Mao had sounded so...suggestive they almost thought it was something utterly, truly, indecent.

"What's wrong with you guys?" Lin Mao looked at the two of them, this weird expression on his face.

"N-nothing," Dye stuttered, "anyways, what I wanted to tell you is...I'm not really what you think I am..."

"You're a genius, I know, but you stay in seclusion," Ynoir suddenly spoke up.

Dye was a little surprised. She felt that Ynoir had completely misunderstood her.

But it was okay to keep her secret for a little longer.

"Haha...," Dye stuck out her tongue.

"But if you're a genius in seclusion, why do you look so young?" Lin Mao looked at Dye curiously.

"I'm actually young...," Dye replied, a little hesitant.

Embarassed with all the attention, she immediately posted whatever information she remembered about the hidden BOSS. The two were not surprised with the transparent screen anymore.

"Click the add info button to add all the information you've acquired," Dye explained.

[LURKER]

[Lives near the Beginner's Village. Didn't actually come from Beginner's Village. Has something to do with David and Ugaria's disappearance. Can control Beasts. Has a real good affinity with elements.]

'So, that big boy had attacked the Elementalist Guild...because of its affinity with elements?' Dye was honestly a bit surprised. She had designed the hidden BOSS to be the elemental type.

She then received her rewards, coming closer to level 9.

"So...this is the reason...," both Lin Mao and Ynoir nodded as Dye explained...

But as they were about to discuss the plan, they heard a loud roar from outside the village.

"Big boy's went beserk!" Dye immediately alerted the two men, who had gotten used to Dye calling the hidden BOSS 'big boy' this past two hours of explaining.

'I just hope that he's...weaker than how I programmed him.'

'Because we wouldn't be able to beat him if he's the same...'

'Unless...,' Dye's eyes looked hopefully at Ynoir, who didn't seem to notice.
