43 Plain Stupid

The three went back to a place in the underground castle. As Jaglash was a revered guest wuth a higher status, the head gave him the full map of the area. There was also his personal room. Although the room wasn't exquisitely decorated, Dye still felt exceptional grace from it. Indeed, Hulio Ponto wasn't a normal individual.

The map itself was filled with blank holes. Jaglash said that they were development zones. This underground castle was built within an abandoned mine. The resources of the mine was exhausted so they used the terrain advantage and made an undergound castle. This was also where Hulio stayed during his leisure time.

As they followed behind Jaglash (invisible), they saw numerous beautiful maids and handsome servants. Dye had never seen such an amount, probably because she was too lazy when she designed the palaces, but it was also because a ame couldn't be too crowded. Other than NPCs who could serve as obstacles or quest givers, Dye did not design much else. It wasn't surprising to Ynoir though. The elven ancestor was completely indifferent to the whole matter.

After all, Ynoir used to be treated like a diamond before.

The teleportation circle was quite a bit further from Jaglash's personal room, so it took them awhile before they reached the safety of the walls without ears. Dye fortified the room with some silence spells and anti-detection spells. She also added a barrier and a sound transmitter spell, to transmit the noise from thw outside-inside and to send only what she wanted to send outside. Although Dye knew that those servants would always respect a guest's privacy, she couldn't risk the Patrol Head to suddenly come over and visit Jaglash.

Though, seeing that Hulio didn't put Jaglash in the main office building and instead in his leisure palace proved that Hulio indeed didn't think much of the girly prince. However, Jaglash was an important character in the future. She didn't originally design Jaglash to be such a cowardly prince after all. There must be something that would trigger his future self somewhen, somewhere.

The table was designed like a coffee table, except it was purely made out of stone. The stone material was smooth and white, comparable to marble, but was still a grade lower. Though, the material was both sturdy and beautiful.

Jaglash laid down the map again in front of both Dye and Ynoir. The map was made of goatskin, and it was burned rather than written on (the tip of a special pen was heated on fire before writing on the paper with the burned pen). Even so, the map was also beautifully crafted.

If she upgraded her caligraphy skill, there was a chance of her handwriting improving and succeed this map.

The areas in the map was, surprisingly, hexagonal. A hexagon marked an area. There were thirty marked areas and around forty five unmarked area on the map. Some hexagons weren't even completely drawn. The underground palace was so large so it was surprising that there were more unmarked areas than the marked ones.

"Jaglash, can we visit the developed areas?" Dye queried.

Jaglash shook his head, "even I am not allowed. They will shoo me out of the area before I can even get close. They also warned me beforehand that the areas were so ugly that they might hurt my vision. I just listened to them."

Dye's heart shook violently, and Ynoir could feel it too.

Jaglash...was actullaly plain stupid...

Simply too stupid...

He should've noticed the signs of these fishy activities. If those were developed areas...wouldn't it be better if Jaglash visited them and gave them hjs opinions? Jaglash was from a better place after all.

Vrenze City...was not simple. Not simple at all.

Dye scanned the available areas and pointed at a hexagon near the top of the goatskin. It was way ij the far north. Around the area were several 'developed' areas. There was also a teleportation circle in the area. It was called 'blacksmith'.

"I suppose we should check this area first."

Dye was no saint, nor did she ever think to be kind to everyone. This was a chance to loot, and if they could loot a lot, there might be an increase on their powers. Although the increase wasn't that significant, a little boost always helped in critical times.

The blacksmith should be an area...where weapons were the best! Even if they couldn't find a higher quality sword for Lin Mao and Julian, they could just sell to the system. Although the system sometimes paid less, the system was a trustworthy buyer. In addition, the system would give a higher price for a bulk. If Dye could find at least 10 crude swords, she could get a 10% profit!

However, a cute, silly prince just looked at his idol with a confused expression.
