14 Five Forms

Even though they had somehow managed to decrease Thorny Iguana's HP, it healed itself.

And this was only its First Form.

Dye designed hidden BOSSes to have the Five Forms. All hidden BOSSes, open world or instance BOSSes, had the Five Forms. Which meant that they had to beat the BOSS five times, before fully killing the BOSS.

Or get a quest to save the NPC, which was previously the BOSS.

But to 'kill' the BOSS five times before being able to finally defeat it, was going to take a long time. Although Lin Mao was impatient, the thrill of fighting made his blood boil. If he could fight, he would do anything to stay longer in the battlefield.

As expected from a battle thirsty person.

Dye used Recover on both Lin Mao and Ynoir, her rythm was perfect and effectively coordinated. Dye's eyes flickered from her two teammates, one to the other. She eyed their movements, their activities, their skills, and sent Recovery at the perfect time.

"Thanks!" Ynoir suddenly appeared beside her, bowing slightly before vanishing once more.

"Pleasure...," Dye mumbled, eyeing Lin Mao who was fighting aggresively with the Thorny Iguana. Whenever his sword hit Thorny Igana's scales, it caused sparks to fly everywhere. If not for the fact that the world was half-game, the forest might already be burnt to crisp by the countless sparks.

Thorny Iguana roared as it tried to find the nimble Lin Mao. Lin Mao was a Swordsman, which was much more nimble than Barbarian, or the other advancement class from the Warrior main class. With their joint efforts, Thorny Iguana was soon beat up to 50% HP.

Thorny Iguana was enraged. Because this world was half-game, BOSSes could get their Enraged status whenever they liked. Thorny Iguana had the Dragon bloodline, shortening its temper.

"Careful!" Dye shouted, starting to assist them with the occasional offensive spells. Her constitution had improved, but none of her spells were body enchancing spells yet. She wasn't an all-rounder yet.

Lin Mao let out a battle cry as he became much more agile. The enraged Thorny Iguana was still as massive, but faster. However, due to Lin Mao increasing his speed, it still couldn't get to Lin Mao.

Ynoir was much safer because he was really fast.

Dye's forehead started to sweat as she used Recover on herself. Her MP slowly recovered, just to be used once again. Dye's hands moved non stop, occasionally pointing at Ynoir, occasionally pointing at Lin Mao and occasionally pointing at herself. Recover couldn't be stacked, and only increased their MP recovery ability by 5% from the original percentage.

Thorny Iguana's health dwindled, quickly reaching the red zone, however, as it was already enraged, it couldn''t get a second Enraged status.

The three of them worked together, taking down the first form of the Thorny Iguana. Dye herself wasn't confident that they could beat this BOSS.

She was only confident until the third form.

Each form increased the BOSS' attributes. Although Thorny Iguana was level 15 in name, its attributes would equal a level 18 character in fourth form.

Unless Ynoir was willing to take out [Passion], they had no hope of beating the fourth and fifth form.

However Dye put all these thoughts to the back of her head, focusing on beating the first form.

The joint attack had finally brought Thorny Iguana's health to 5%. Dye eyed the HP bar as it decreased to 4% and decreased once more to 3%.

The 3% was soon 2% and the 2% was soon 1%. As Thorny Iguana's health was about to drop to 0, Dye opened her mouth.

"LIN MAO, OLD MAN! STAY BACK!"

The two were stunned but retreated to Dye's side nevertheless. Dye delivered the finishing blow, making Thorny Iguana's HP hit 0. Thorny Iguana roared, but instead of falling down, dead, its body was covered in blinding red light.

"What's happening?" Both Ynoir and Lin Mao were confused.
